We love this chic, contemporary hideaway situated in a picturesque setting near the magnificent cathedral city of Salisbury.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom area: Kingsize (5ft) Bed  
  
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Stable Cottage is a stunning, romantic holiday home set in a picturesque location on the owners’ farm in Alderbury, perfect for two guests. This charming cottage offers open-plan studio accommodation, combining the bedroom, living room, dining area, and kitchen into one cosy space. Unwind on the comfortable sofa and savour the simple pleasures of good company and a relaxing drink or two. When it’s time for bed, the king-size bed is just a few steps away, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a bath, ideal for a soothing soak after a day of exploration. Please note, that due to the rural location, signal reception is limited. For an extra special touch or to celebrate an occasion, you can arrange with the owner to add a hamper full of local produce for £40 after booking.  
  
Embrace the simple pleasures of life and enjoy the fresh country air with a stroll to the village pub, just a few hundred yards away. While you may not want to leave this peaceful retreat, the historic city of Salisbury is nearby, offering a variety of boutique shops, independent pubs, and eateries. Explore the stunning Salisbury Cathedral, home to the Magna Carta, or wander through the picturesque streets and enjoy the vibrant market that has been a staple for over 800 years. History enthusiasts will also appreciate a visit to the ancient ruins of Old Sarum, a site with a history dating back to the Iron Age.  
  
For nature lovers, the New Forest National Park is within easy reach, offering extensive walking and cycling trails, as well as opportunities for horse riding and wildlife spotting. If you’re in the mood for a seaside adventure, the beautiful beaches of the South Coast are just a short drive away, perfect for a day of sun, sea, and sand. For a more adrenaline-filled outing, the Thruxton race circuit, with activities ranging from karting to supercars, is a little further afield. Shop and restaurant 3½ miles away, pub 350 yards away.
