Cheap and clean, room a bit tired.
Room was fine for a quick stay over. All clean. Room was a bit tired, had a hole in the plasterboard, couple of loose fixtures, double sockets with only one socket working, but nothing terrible. For the price we paid for a quick visit to Manchester it was good value. In a nice area and got parked no probs.
Welcoming and accommodating staff, basic but very clean warm room, excellent clean bathroom with powerful shower, comfy bed, great nights sleep. Great value for money!!

Friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast.,
Slightly dated.
Very reasonably priced accommodation in a quiet hotel. Service and cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, although decor could in some parts have done with updating. The proprietor did everything she could to make our stay comfortable.
Lovely b and b.
Friendly staff.
Only things that would of been even better:
Kitchen open for dinner, although i guess its because its not busy at all.
Breakfast was cooked to perfection and although it was very tasty would be good to have more choice especially for the price, e.g yogurt, pastries, fresh fruit and maybe something like an omelette instead of full english but thats just personal choice!
A bigger bath towel and a hand towel is needed and somewhere to put shower gel when ln the shower. The shower was lovely tho.
A great overnight stay tho and very comfy bed!!
Stayed one night with 3 friends to attend an event in Manchester. The room was comfortable and clean. Own private bathroom. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the area. Great value for money.
Charming building with friendly and welcoming staff. The room was OK. Lovely clean bathroom and room but inexplicably awful mattress with sub-standard linen.
Reasonably priced and good location. Cooked breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable hotel in quiet location
Quiet hotel with free parking and good metro access to city centre. Friendly check in. Room was large and comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities, although room decor a bit tired and in need of upgrade. Steep stairs to bedrooms may be tricky for some.

Nice place, great staff but feels and looks tired
Very friendly and helpful staff made for a pleasant stay and rooms were clean, but the place is badly in need of a decor refresh and upgrade. My shower had poor water pressure, and was barely warm. My son's room had almost no water pressure so just dribbled out of the shower head, and was also barely warm.
We arrived earlier than check-in time. The staff at the lodge allowed us to keep our bags on site. We felt very comfortable doing so. The people on site helped us with navigation and transportation options for the area. Pub on site. No food. But, we had a great time chatting with the locals about our trip. Felt very safe here.
We booked it because we have stayed before a little while ago nice restaurant according to the website signs outside saying food etc ,etc. The photos are nothing like the website they dont do food only breakfast which you have to pay for ,the room very basic tv very complicated to use ,the bathroom very small no bath only a shower could hardly move in so very disappointed all in all
It was locked up on arrival and played a guessing game of whick of the 5 bells to ring. Got the right one I. The end.
They have a good looking menu, I was informed when I arrived that there is no food so o need to go out and sort myself out.
The room was dirty, the blanket had stains on it. There were food crumbs on the floor.
The wall paper was ripped in places and was very old.
I had a twin room as that was all that's available. The beds had spings poking me in the back( I tried both).
I went to make a pot of tea, when I opened the tea pot it stank of old water and there was still water on the bottom.
The kettle was half full of water, no way of telling if it was fresh or if there was anything in it so I disposed of that.
Tiny tv for the size of the room a d there was a 1970's pull out bed in The corner.
The place was very noisy. I had a 6am flight to catch and I finally got to sleep around 1am. Music was thumping till around 11..then they took the party to the rooms.
It was very cold and no heating apart from a. Radiator that was not on.
