They even had a generator kick in when electric was lost during a thunderstorm. The property was clean and with modern finishes. Be prepared to have to contact someone to find it. « We checked in for a short getaway and were pleasantly surprised. We normally stay in hotels but we wanted to be able to stay in a make our own meals and this was perfect. It was quiet and secluded and the room was clean and comfortable. It had every amenity we needed. We will definitely be back the next time we need an escape. « The safari taxi makes regular stops (about every 10-15 minutes?) at the driveway close to the unit which is a great deal at $1 a person per ride and a 5 minute trip to the St. John ferry and Red Hook area. Sapphire resort is nearby and has lots of food and drink options. Plentiful bath and beach towels and paper products provided. « We stayed at Thomas's apartment for a week and had an amazing time. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with everything you might need for a holiday. The property has a pool, restaurant, and Sapphire Beach very close by. It's easy to get to Red Hook which we did often to get the ferry to St John or visit the grocery store, and restaurants. It was centrally located between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook, which gave us easy access to the island's beaches, grocery stores and, St John fairy terminal.
