A pleasant place with poor services. Our expectations were higher for the price paid. No kettle, no glass or something in the room. In my opinion, the hotel is overpriced and over rated. Indeed, the position of the hotel is really good, in the end of waterfront. The staff has been well ( poor english but ok)

Worse hotel we ever stayed at
This is not even worthy of a motel designation. Super old room, the toilet was as stinky as a public bathroom, door didn’t fully close and the latch scraped the wall, layers of paint over wallpaper, no A/C, no fridge, no safe, looked like it was not updated in 50 years. It has no elevator and the stairs are super tiny and twisty, had super hard time going up and down with a 50 lb suitcase. Just horrible. We asked the staff to at least take care of the toilet smell and nothing happened. The website pictures are very deceiving - that’s totally not what we experienced. I’m actually very disappointed that Hotels.com would allow such a dump to be available on their website… It’s a good way to make a beautiful trip un-enjoyable. We wouldn’t stay there again even if it was free!

Quant à la décoration de nos chambres, elles sont toutes différentes et en rapport avec nos gouts.La propreté est également un point sur lequel l'équipe se veut performante.D'ailleurs nous regrettons que vos remarques se soient faite au départ puisque nous aurions fait au mieux pour vous satisfaire.

3 night break from Paris
Friendly, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, bathroom small but adequate, quiet area with two minute walk to beach. Small supermarket next door and several restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Big screen TV lounge. Great value for money.

Great little hotel. Return stay!
Great hotel. Good family rooms. Secure parking and convently located if you have a car. Close to the beach. Good price. Wifi is fine for emails but not great for streaming - fine for us :)

Lovely little break in St Malo.
My wife and I would stay at Hotel Eden again, we enjoyed our stay very much. All items positive in a very relaxed atmosphere.

This is an ideal over night stop, parking must be a problem during high season, I would have to think twice about it, Other wise, no other great problems.

Nice hotel
The hotel is in a quite street and looks like an old house. The town is 3 km away from the hotel, the beaches are very close. The room for 4 people is not very spacious but it si nice and very quiet.

Lovely, affordable, friendly hotel.
I would have no hesitation in staying here again. The hotel is easily reached from the old town by the No 8 bus (1.30 euros) or by a beautiful walk along the coast or beach at low tide. The area is quiet and well equipped with a small supermarket, a patisserie, a chemists, and it is close to the coast. Breakfast at the hotel is 11 Euros, which looked good when I popped my head into the breakfast room, but I chose to go out and buy croissants from the patisserie and orange juice and fruit from the supermarket - for a much cheaper 4 Euros. The hotel has a bar as well which is handy. My only gripe was poor lighting in the room - not great for reading in bed. Otherwise rooms have good showers, comfortable beds, and even though my room had a view of a roof, the owners had large stickers on the windows depicting large flower pots.

Nice little room with a view.
Nice place, good price. Bed was comfortable. We had a room on the top floor and although the stairs were steep, the room was private and bed comfy.

Great for overnight stay before ferry crossing
Lovely friendly hotel in residential St Malo which is able to accommodate a family of four in one lovely large room. Children loved the buffet breakfast in the morning and there is plenty of free parking available on the nearby streets. Would recommend for any one wanting to stay overnight before catching the ferry.

Second visit pre ferry crossing home . Handy for local beach which was excellent .check in fast friendly no fuss. Usual high standards re cleanliness . The room we had there was a significant step into bathroom from bedroom. Perhaps a handle fixture to wall on left of door access for those not so agile. Definitely go again.

Easy going nothing too much trouble
Easy check in process . Handy for beach and easy to get to ferry. Clean and comfy but a bit spartan. Upgrade from original to family room very welcome surprise.

Comfortable bed, very quiet area, good buffet breakfast. Hotel was a bit overpriced (though admittedly it was a holiday weekend), AND overcharged for add-ons such as parking and the breakfast. Also, hotel reception & staff have ridiculously limited hours, closing at 9pm which is BEFORE SUNSET in June! You have to make special arrangements if you are arriving in the later evening, but they were at least reasonably accommodating.

Wonderful Saint-Malo
2 min. walk from the beach, nice location. The room was small but this is the way it is in France. Beds were comfortable and room was clean and nice looking. Staff was kind and helpful gave us all points of interest upon our arrival.

Lovely hotel, boutique style, Recommend.
Good location, easy to find. Both street parking (no problem) and paid secure on site available. Paid for a larger room as we were staying for four nights. Modern decor, coffee making etc. available downstairs. All the reception staff were extremly friendly and very helpful on all occasions. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again if in the area.

Hotel Eden, more like hotel hell. Don't stay here. it looks good in the pictures but it's awful. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. It is the single worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is overpriced for what it is. The beds are dirty and stained and smell like urine. I don't know how it got 2 stars to be honest. It's put me of france for life. I'm warning you don't stay there. It's disgusting. If you don't believe find out for your self. I walked in took a look around, went to the toilet, saw a cockroach. And after trying a taster of the food some old woman was insisting I try. I checked out and went to stay in a nicer hotel. THE PICS OF THE HOTEL AREN'T REAL! IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT DOES IN THE PICTURES. DO NOT STAY THERE. my room had a massive hole in the wall and what looked like faeces smeared over one of the walls. WARNING: DO NOT STAY THERE.

Hotel Eden - friendly family atmosphere
A small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It's clean and well kept with recently renovated, but very small, bathrooms. I appreciated the location, at the far end of the "promenade", close to the beach, beautiful walks and basic shopping and restaurants. It's a beautiful 30 minute walk into the old town.

A good hotel
The Hotel Eden is an excellent place to stay both if you are staying in St. Malo or on an overnight stop on route into France. The hotel is clean, with very nice rooms even for a family of 4 although a kettle to make drinks would have been welcome. The hotel is easily found and has good access to the nearby beaches as is not too far from the old city. The staff were excellent and the breakfast is a must. Will probably stay again when next in the area.

We booked a family room for 4 people (1 double and 2 single beds) for 1 night on our way to our final destination in France and for 1 night on our return to catch the ferry. We were very happy with the room, it was basic and clean and we found the beds to be comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for short stays. The breakfast cost extra and was really nice with a good selection of foods on offer. Parking at the back of the hotel did cost extra too (9 Euros), but it gave us peace of mind because it was securely locked and allowed us to leave most of our luggage in the car overnight.

We were made to feel very welcome by the unfailingly smiling and polite staff. The room was small and very basic, but was impeccably clean and newly refurbished. The bathroom was equally small but very cleverly designed although the water pressure in the shower could have been better. The location was fine - very close to the beach and very quiet, even if it was a little bit of a walk to the centre. Overall I was very happy with the hotel given the price paid and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Très bon séjour !
Deux nuits passées dans l’hôtel hors du centre ville, mais proche de la mer avec des points de restaurations accessible à pied (market, bar, restaurant). Nous nous sommes garés près de l’hôtel sur des places gratuites, mais prévoyez si vous visiter, le parking du centre ville est payant (plutôt cher). Un accueille très chaleureux et un personnel disponible a la clientèle (nous sommes arrivés en dehors des horaires standard et cela n’a pas posé problème). Rien à redire sur la propreté, salle de bain et lit impeccables. Des ustensiles sont à disposition si vous souhaitez manger dans vos chambre (micro-onde, couverts). Bon rapports qualité prix, et très bon séjour en général, nous recommandons.
