Peaceful little residential hamlet very quiet, in the hollow of a magnificent natural & rural setting rolling with gentle mountains, on the edge of meadows, river, grove & vast forest. On the edge of the village center, typical & commercial, nestled on the slope of Mont-Beuvray culminating at 821m, exceptional belvedere offering an extraordinary view (as far as Mont-Blanc!), occupied at its summit by the "oppidum" of Bibracte, an ancient Gallic fortified city, one of the best preserved with its ramparts & districts extending over 200 ha, within a remarkable protected site classified in the "Natura 2000" zone.
