We cooked a couple meals and ate out a couple times - recommend Le Peeps for breakfast and Bandanas for BBQ. The area is downtown St Jo, and looks sketchier than it is. There are a bunch of places to walk to for food and drink. Recommend The Den for a quiet drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic) in a cozy, lounge type atmosphere. « Positives - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.Negatives-Online VRBO photos DO NOT match the room I stayed in. The bathroom had a tub instead of walk-in shower and was not as updated or nice as the picture online. There is no decor in the room at all, there is no where to sit but the bed, the dresser drawers are way to small to fit clothes in and there was no hair dryer as indicated online. It had snowed the day before I arrived and the ramp leading to the room was not cleaned off. »
