Four bedrooms (two of which have outside access), three shower rooms, three toilets, lounge-veranda, dining room, open-plan kitchen, four terraces, and a 1,000-square-meter garden to rest under the tall pines rocked by the murmur surf. The house is fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, iron, microwave, hairdryer, five-burner stove, nespresso coffee machine, CD player, DVD player, cable TV, stereo, garden furniture, gas barbecue ...) and it has Wi Fi. Linens can be provided at an additional cost. To stock up, a convenience store is 250 meters away. No parking problem in front of the house, even with several cars, but you can also park on the property. Royan is a very pleasant city, the air is invigorating, the atmosphere relaxed, and you can choose the sea according to your tastes: calm and quiet at the mouth of the Gironde (the large beach near the house), much more hectic a few kilometers away, on the wild coast. For the rest, the resort offers almost all possible distractions: golf, horse riding, tennis, sailing school, jet ski rental, fishing, tree climbing, quad biking, sea trips, cycle paths, volleyball, miniclub, windsurfing board sailing, parachuting, bowling, rides, walks in the Médoc cellars (on the other side of the Estuary, a quarter of an hour by ferry) or at the Cordouan lighthouse, the first structure in France to have been classified as a monument historical... And for foodies, the famous large covered market, an architectural feat of the 1950s, offers an incredible profusion of fish, oysters, crustaceans ... and Charentes melons. Davon abgesehen hatten wir 2 sehr schöne Wochen, weil das Außengelände wunderschön ist und wir uns überwiegend draußen aufhalten konnten. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen (Ferienhaus-)Gegend, trotzdem nah am Zentrum von Royan und nah an allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Für Leute, die gerne kochen: Bringt euch scharfe Messer mit! Deux semaines paisibles dans l’environnement du Parc de Valières, nid de verdure dominé par les immenses pins landais rescapés sans doute de la tempête de 99! Intérieur simple mais accueillant, des canapés pour lire des histoires aux petits, une belle luminosité, des chambres spacieuses si l’on veut s’isoler, une bibliothèque passionnante ! Plaisir d’aller à la plage à pied avec les jeunes enfants, les grands vont et viennent sans aucun danger, ravitaillement à proximité et des restaurants de plage aussi accueillants que d’excellente qualité !! La localisation y est très agréable. La maison est fonctionnelle même si certaine prestation reste à revoir telle que la literie qui laisse vraiment à désirer dans l'ensemble des chambres ! Das Haus ist sehr schön und eignet sich auch hervorragend für mehrere Personen. Und auch der private Vermieter ist immer sehr hilfsbereit und man kann sich an ihn wenden.
