The 4 minute walk to Gold Beach was superb, and the close proximity to all the local history and Bayeux meant travel was easy. The accommodation was perfect for us as a couple but would be great for a family of four also. Close enough to the (amazing) beach that if you forget something it's no hassle to pop back and grab it. Really good location for accessing loads of WW2 sites (for when you have a WW2 obsessed teenager!), and some really good cycling routes nearby.
