"The unit is up a spiral staircase (not mentioned and no elevator). The smell when you enter the condo is very strong. The washer used only very hot water, and no laundry soap provided. The wash rags were hanging over a rack (we hope they were clean) had four extremely small and old stained towels. Refrigerator, stove, utensils and window seals were dirty. No shampoo, conditioner, soap or dish washer soap. No information or how do use booklet. Couldn’t get the air conditioner to work. We open the...

"Sam’s place is great for large groups visiting Montreal. Location is very convenient: bus stop right outside or a 10min walk to a metro station; Old Montreal/Notre Dame is a straight 20min walk. And not to mention the abundance of restaurants and cafes in Griffintown. The apartment was clean and Sam was amazing in responding to all our requests, big and small such as replenishing household items and fixing minor issues. "
