We throughly enjoyed the hot tub, all the games (pool, croquet, board games, foosball) and the space to spread out both indoors and out. The house was immaculate, kitchen well appointed (but no coffee grinder) and very comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The trains passing below weren’t particularly loud, but if you’re in the master bedroom on the top floor the vibration from the trains in the night can be unnerving. This house is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations in every way! The home was the most well appointed rental we’ve had - they seriously thought of so many extras and communication with the rental company was exceptional! Honestly, it was hard to leave today, as I’ll miss my morning coffee on the wrap around deck with endless views, the bunnies who greeted us several times a day, the deer that passed through regularly… and the list goes on and on. Check-in and out were a breeze thanks to the management company. The master bedroom was comfortable and our family enjoyed the many games and the rustic fireplace...we even got to use 3 kayaks that were in the driveway next to the garage (note - glad we rented an Expedition, it was a 10 min drive to get into the lake)! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare basic meals including a griddle and great set of knives. It's pretty close to Sandpoint but it is on a gravel road and requires a difficult left turn onto a major thoroughfare. There were always quite a few flies in the home and it is close enough to a train track that you can hear and feel trains passing by. Our only major complaint was that the home smelled of cigarette smoke and after staying there a week, all of our belongings retained a mild but obvious cigarette smell that required laundering and additional measures to remove. I alerted the management company and they were gracious and promised to look into it but I was disapointed that they did not offer anything to offset the inconvenience. ##### Kori H.
