You'll be surrounded by hip coffee joints, mouthwatering eateries, and bars. Welcome to your urban adventure headquarters! The Space: Recently Remodeled | Free WiFi | In The Heart of Downtown Sacramento Great for a small getaway with close-knit friends and family, this house's completely remodeled interior features, brand new bathroom, and a historic-yet-luxury feel that'll have you feeling right at home in Sacramento! You'll be in a private unit within a larger fourplex building. This place is located on the tree line of Downtown Sacramento. The home was built in 1926 and has the original foyer staircase. Everything else has be remodeled quite tastefully. The unit is located on the first floor of a multifamily building. Bedroom 1: King Bed with smart TV | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed with smart TV INTERIOR: 1 Smart TV in living room with all major streaming apps like Netflix & Hulu, open-concept living area, and large family-style dining table KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/ granite counters, breakfast bar, Keurig coffee maker, stainless steel appliances, toaster, cooking basics, knife set OUTDOOR LIVING: Spacious backyard for plenty of activities GENERAL: Linens/towels, central heat and AC, and complimentary toiletries PARKING Street parking (FREE) - not a busy street so parking is readily available right outside the home. 1 parking permit will be provided. Be aware of street cleaning on Mondays and Tuesdays. Street cleaning signs apply to everyone - even vehicles with parking permits. The home-side of the street has street cleaning on Tuesday mornings from 10 AM to 12 PM and the opposite side of the street has street cleaning on Monday mornings from 10 AM to 12 PM. Guest Access: Digital door locks are programed with unique access codes for every guest. Last-minute and same-day bookings are welcome as check-in instructions will automatically be sent at booking confirmation. The Neighborhood: Our charming neighborhood is walking distance to multiple coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Pickup an electric scooter or electric bike around the neighborhood and enjoy a ride around town. Ride through our state capitol, have a picnic at one of our 28 parks, or enjoy sunset ride back from dinner at one of our many award-winning restaurants. Please note there is an abandoned building next door that is boarded up. Rest assured, this building is vacant and does not have homeless people living inside. The neighborhood is safe and the property is surrounded by cameras. \- 1.9 miles away from Sutter Health Park, new home of the Athletics Other Things to Note: Parking on the street right outside of the home is always available and free! One visitor pass will be available to use and leave on the dashboard of your vehicles to avoid any parking tickets during your stay. The communication with Sway was exceptional. Responses were prompt and detailed - we always had the information we needed to make our trip a success and stress free. The apartment was a short/pleasant walk (5-10 minutes) to downtown shops, bars, and restaurants. The Golden 1 Center was 15 minutes (in the same downtown area). The apartment was as described with a nice welcome basket and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was close to the auditorium where my graduation was held. Very walkable location. The home was so cute and spacious. It was perfect for the 4 of us that traveled together. My wife was impressed by the connectable to so many tv apps. The host was very responsive, helpful, and gave me some wonderful suggestions of places to try. Parking permit was included which was a nice touch even though the parking was a bit tight, yet cars were always coming and going so there was always a spot in front of the home. The home was fully stocked with many accommodations. We had a wonderful trip. This was my first time ever using Vrbo or any private host site. I was surprised with the ease of the whole process. Pros: location in Old Sac is good, close to restaurants and bars and easy to get to highway. Apartment looked as expected from pictures. Was clean and comfortable. Cons: the house is next to a burned out abandoned home that felt sketchy. The first night we came home and some homeless folks were trying to get into the property which concerned us. The locks on our apartment and main door were different than the typical keypad locks we are used to and we had to double check from the outside that they were in fact secure. I would recommend adding inside deadbolts for security on the individual units. There is also very little insulation so it was very loud when people were coming down the stairs or in the upstairs units. Finally, little touches help like multiple towel hooks, nicer hangers in closets (these were well worn wire hangers) and storage for clothing. ##### Melissa K. Location to downtown is great. Somewhat sketchy Neiguborhood. Place was tidy, but could have used a final wipe down if counters and appliances (lots of fingerprints). Manager offered to have someone come back and re clean. I just gave it a once over myself. Very minimal appliances and kitchen ammenities.was planning to cook, ended up eating out. Beds were comfortable. Walls are very thin, multiple tenants can be heard moving and speaking in adjacent units. No cable, but as advertised ( I missed it in the add) No drip coffee machine (again I missed it in the add). Was a POD coffee maker in lieu. Only two towels for the four night stay. Would have been nice to have a third or fourth towel. No laundry (again as advertised) shower door was very dirty at the bottom, black in behind the plastic. Should come apart and be cleaned or replaced.. overall stay was adequate. Suitable for short stay of a couple days. For the money I will stay in the Hyatt next trip. I am so glad that we picked this place for my Ironman. It was clean, cozy and close to downtown. The hosts were so easy to work/talk with. They responded within minutes if I had a question. Myself and 3 friends booked this for one night- went to a concert at Golden One. It’s a very clean, well appointed apartment. SOOO QUIET! Beds bathroom kitchen all EXCELLENT. Neighborhood was nice, felt very safe. No outside area to hang out to speak of, although we did DoorDash and eat on front porch which was nice. I will definately book again! ##### vicki a. It was exactly as described. Easy access as well which was awesome. Very convenient to everything. We loved walking to the coffee shop down the street every morning. It meet our needs in every way. It was clean and comfortable. The welcome basket left for us upon arrival was such a nice touch. The owner Shelby checked in each day via email to make sure we had everything we needed and replied promptly when I asked for recommendation for takeout. My family and I loved our stay here; the apartment is wonderfully appointed, and decorated beautifully throughout. We had everything we needed, with soft, comfortable bedding, an absolutely gorgeous kitchen (seriously, I want to take this kitchen home with me!), great bathrooms, and a comfortable living room with enough seating for all of us. It’s situated within walking distance or a quick drive of everything we needed. The host is a great communicator, and I can’t think of anything I’d want to change.
