What stood out is THE LAKE! The picture of the dock is not an understatement. We loved being on the water. And the screen room in front is wonderful. Getting on and off Hwy 441 can be exhilarating but there is always a price for wonderfulness. Jackie is so great at communicating as well. And the neighbors are nice! We are heartbroken that we waited too long to book for the next year.

Absolutely loved loved loved this place!!! It’s absolutely beautiful! View was gorgeous! It’s quite and close to everywhere we needed to be. Beautiful location, right in between Harris & mt Dora. Pontoon rental next to Fish Camp restaurant (fantastic food!!!). Very comfortable house, huge screened in patio.

Filthy inside and outside. Heavy Dust in all filters and ceiling fans. Stove element had tape x over large element. Oven had a dirty grease pad. A catch cup full of water for leaking faucet on the kitchen sink faucet that was full of water. Microwave dirty, toaster with aluminum foil under it full of crumbs. Spiders, lizards and dead bugs on all inside window frames. Outside screen room full of bird droppings, cob webs, remnants of dead bugs, flying insects all over, dirty floors and lawn furniture and tables, missing a whole screen panel from the frame over the main door approximately 4’x 6. Outside walks and dock dirty, broken seat on dock. I contacted the host got a run around, told her we were not staying and drove back home. House needs a real inside and outside cleaning and update the kitchen appliances.

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding and my husband and I stayed here the night of, it was the perfect distance, and the view over the lake was the perfect way to end our perfect wedding night. The host was in full communication the entire time. Great place to stay

Great Views, Dock and Screened Porch

My family and I had a great time during our stay! The house is well appointed and the communication with the host was fantastic. The views can’t be beat, both from the inside and on the dock. The large screened in porch is also a great place to spend time. Will definitely rent again!

House is on a beautiful street.The views of the lake are amazing.Nice dock.We tried to fish but no luck.The general condition of the property was OK but the property needs some maintenance .The first bedroom is pretty warm in the summer even with the fan provided .I suggest a secondary AC unit .The back porch is great but it hasn't been clean in a long time.Another suggestion is to write the pet fees on the listing that way you know it before you book and not after.

Awesome location to view Lake Eustis and watch lake activity.

We stayed at the property for two weeks. It was a wonderful property to view the lake while sitting in the lanai or the dock. It would be amazing place for people looking to fish or boat on the lake or spend quality time with friends/ family. We appreciated the short distance to restaurants and east access to Atlantic beaches. Only downside was the busy traffic of major road, but we only noticed it during typical rush hours.

Quiet getaway

Material conditions need a lot of work. We had to put window back on its track. All window treatments were broken. Shower was molding. Grill unusable. Bathroom cabinet door fell off. Floors were dirty. Could not find dust pan to sweep. It had a "fish camp" feel to it. Bed comfortable. Lake View was great.

The perfect lakeside home

We had a great stay at Jackie's house, which was well-stocked, clean, and with the most amazing view over the lake (better than the photos)! It felt like a home and not a vacation rental (ie, it had character and charm - exactly what we wanted). Communication was very responsive and our host was quite accomodating. We fished and spent a day exploring Mt Dora. We would definitely return and highly recommend staying at this property.
