"The West Cork Hotel is situated in an idyllic site beside the River Lee. It is also very close to the main townsite. The hotel boasts a complimentary breakfast which was as good as any I’ve had in Ireland. The bar/pub/restaurant was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Skibberreen is a hidden gem in West Cork, and if you ever chose to travel there, The West Cork hotel is the place to stay."

"Nice big room but dated, still very clean. Beds were a bit soft, one in particular, would have been an excellent if these were more comfortable. Family room doubles as accessible room. Breakfast is excellent, really good quality food and the staff were very friendly and helpful."

The structure is amazing and the views are spectacular.Be prepared with all your provisions before you arrive and be prepared to climb some "delightfully precarious" stairs to the bedroom.This is a once in a lifetime vacation spot and we will always remember it fondly."

"It would be difficult to imagine a more ideal place to spend time in Kerry. Close to the beach, hiking trails, a small village with a pub and food store; and yet a feeling of privacy and isolation as well. Fresh blackberries were plentiful in the brambles around the home. A well-stocked kitchen, books and games made it feel like a home; you can tell the place is well-loved by its owners. We loved it too!"

"Very friendly staff, comfortable if not luxurious. Ideal place to base yourself if visiting Baltimore. Walking distance to town. Nice bar. My only nit would br that the food was not great.Breakfast ok but dinner not as good as expected"
