"Lovely resort by the ocean. Great beach for walking. Food service was limited to one nearby restaurant that provides poor service and overcooked food. Avoid."

The Forks Motel

The Forks Motel

10/10 Excellent
"Was planning to stay elsewhere but decided to book a room at the Forks Motel. The room was a bit musty smelling when we arrived but after opening the windows the odor dissipated and all was good. The room itself was neat and tidy and the bed was clean and comfortable. The coffee maker, microwave and fridge were all appreciated as well. Most importantly, the shower had an endless supply of hot water. Our room was at the rear of the property away from the street noise so we were able to get a good night’s rest. There were several restaurants within walking distance. We chose the The In Place which was right across the street and enjoyed their grilled fish taco special with a delicious pie à la mode for dessert. Would definitely stay there again."

Kalaloch Lodge

"Great staff beautiful setting. The only complaints I had were the extra blanket smelled musty/foggy and the furnace kicked on every couple of minutes then ran for 6-15 seconds then shut off. I imagine it’s because the thermostat is 3 feet away from the unit. It was very hard to sleep with though. Other than that very nice property and would stay again when heat wasn’t needed."

Hoh Chalet A cozy cabin on the Olympic Peninsula

Hoh Chalet A cozy cabin on the Olympic Peninsula

8/10 Good
"The house was scrupulously clean on our visit, and was well supplied in both kitchen and bathroom. Host checked on us soon after we arrived, and we had a delightful conversation. The house book contains loads of information about the house and the local area.Host built this chalet, using an array of materials, with an eye to being as self-contained and off-the-grid as possible. As a result, it's a bit quirky. We had water, power, and wifi, and the location is terrific. Beds are upstairs, with access via a narrow spiral staircase. I loved it; it wasn't my husband's cup of tea."

"I have never been so sad to leave a rental. This place is pure magic. The trails, the extremely well-thought-out amenities, the amazing host! We loved every moment there and in the surrounding area. I cannot recommend HVH more! We can’t wait to find our way back."

Unique A-Frame house nestled at the edge of rainforest with Sauna & Hot-tub

8/10 Good
"Overall a good stay. House is really cute and a convenient location to Hoh and other areas. Like someone else mentioned on a previous review, the beds and couches aren’t the most comfortable. Was ok for a couple nights but I don’t know if I’d want to sleep in the bed for a week. Back yard is close to the road but we were really only there at night so it was quiet. Very limited restaurant options in Forks."
