Set amongst mature palms and refreshing greenery this well-appointed stylish accommodation just off the main highway will be your idyllic base in Ruakākā. Your Northland travels begins with a rest by the riverbank at River Rest!  
  
After parking out front in the large courtyard, your on-site hosts will welcome you to your holiday-home which occupies the downstairs area of a larger dwelling. Surrounded by pretty lawns and gardens that slope to the edge of the Ruakākā river, this is a tranquil spot to relax.   
  
After exploring one of Northlands most famous stretches of coast, relax on the outdoor courtyard seating and fire up the gas BBQ for an alfresco picnic. The expansive lawn invites you to bring along backyard games to pass the time and soak up the benefits of the sunny winterless north!  
  
You'll also have a selection of games and books to keep you entertained, as well as complimentary WIFI to ensure you stay connected during your stay.  
  
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom self-contained retreat sleeps up to five guests, with a queen bed in the bedroom, and a king single with roll-away plus pull-out couch in the living area.   
  
Amenities include a kitchenette with microwave and fridge-freezer and the essentials for fuss-free self-catering. Whip up an easy feast with the provided air fryer or induction cook-top. Make yourself at home on large modern furnishings.   
  
Located three-minutes' drive to Ruakākā beach, endless sand and surf awaits, from Marsden Point down through Uretiti to Waipu, all under the gaze of Mt Manaia. As an added bonus local shops are within walking distance!  
  
This comfortable accommodation will be just what you need as you pass through this iconic holiday destination. Welcome to your River Rest!   
Please note there is a pot-a-cot available on request.Please be aware this property does not have an oven. A kitchenette with fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and induction cook top is available for use during your stay.
