The location is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and the staff were consistently polite and efficient. Check‑in was handled very smoothly despite multiple bookings, and we were even given our room early. Breakfast also offered plenty of choice, including a full English option. However, the stay was affected by several issues. Noise insulation is very poor — we could clearly hear people in the corridor and in neighbouring rooms. Housekeeping was inconsistent: our room wasn’t cleaned on Sunday despite the sign, and on other days it was only partially done or not done by mid‑afternoon. We also experienced a leaking toilet flush, electrical issues, and a malfunctioning safe. Although every problem was resolved quickly once reported, we had to request help daily. The hotel did offer a complimentary drink after we gave formal feedback, which we appreciated. Overall, a convenient hotel with good staff, but too many avoidable issues to rate higher.
