The blankets in the room smells like dirty feet. The bath room was dirty. This is why we skipped the shower. We wanted to complain in the morning to the manager when trying to check out, but no one was there at 9:15 AM. So we left the key in the room.

The manager was rude when I called. The gentleman who was cleaning the room was a good employee. The room was run down but it was a bed to sleep in. Most of the electrical sockets are loose and don’t even hold the chargers. The bathroom had 3 dead insects on the floor. The bathroom ceiling fan is super noisy and when i used the bathroom, the handle did not come back up so it flooded the bathroom so beware of that.

Main issue with this hotel is that the room rate advertised and charged is not the real rate. Unless you usually read all the fine print of the contract when you book and pay the non-refundable amount on your phone, you won't learn that you still owe for the room when you check in. You can refuse to pay the extra fee, but they already have the non-refundable amount so if you refuse, what are you going to do? The final rate is still on the low side, but the property is definitely sub-par, approaching flea bag status. But what they are doing should be considered a scam, in my opinion.

Hello Gary,We sorry to hear that but have choose budget price two star motel & expecting five star motel facility. You may not be aware Delta 8,9 & 10 is legal in North Carolina. We are not smoking free motel. We have no control when our guest smoke Delta product that is the smell. It's is hard to find help. We don't serve breakfast. We offer bargain rate that is the reason you book the room & than complaining.

Room smelled strongly of cat urine! The entire property was so dirty, in shambles. Worst place I have ever stayed. Owner had zero interest in being friendly. Apparently, the property has one employee! He does desk, maintenance, housekeeping and gets paid $3.00 per hourunder the table. The employee was very friendly and did his best under the circumstances. People were hanging out in their cars most of the night. Seemed like drug activity. TV had unfiltered porn! And regular channels were staticy. It was just plain awful. Was charged a $5.00 cleaning fee at check in. Plus a $50.00 deposit. (??). $5.00 was reimbursed, but so far not the $50.00.

Hello, Karensa,You are aware that we are a two star motel at the time of reservation. Sorry to hear that you unhappy. You got the room accordingly what you paid for. You sleep whole night in the room since it was comfortable & left in the morning never came to office to change room or any thing to talk. We inspected room no find any smell. Expedia ask for room review only but you out of mind & get too much personal. Currently due to short of staff we use staff in the area we need. We always willing to help if we are aware of your need.

The room was clean. Much cleaner than the one I stayed at the night before. Very nice people at the desk. I am thinking of staying again on my next trip to South Carolina.

I had signed up for 2 double beds...confirmation came for one king size...there was a hidden one night charge so I took the one night. The room only had 2 wash cloths and 2 towels ..good thing we had our own, Additionally the manager asked for a $50 deposit to be returned on check out if the room was left intact. Do not recommend.

Upon driving up it appears the entire building is abandoned and should be torn down. Was looking for a cheap motel that was pet friendly. After checking in there was a knock on my door saying I owed a $30 dog fee. No where on hotels.com website is a pet fee mentioned. Room is the bare minimum. Would Not recommend

Very dirty, unsanitary, unclean. The windows were so dirty, the curtains need to be cleaned and hung properly, the carpet needs to be removed, and the room needs to be steam, painted, deordorized! Thank God that I only was there overnight.

My stay was horrible because the ppl in the next room where slamming doors all night long and fighting and the office didn't do anything about it and also they took my $50 deposit for the reason of the sheets where dirty in all reality the top cover had cigarette burns in it already would not recommend anyone to stay at this property they are cheats

Hello Guest, You had damage two linen Flat & fitted with blood on it. You also stole blanket & trash room. We spend more money than $50. The next door fighting you should call police to be a good citizen to protect some one life in danger. You did not did your part & just complaining.
