"A lovely location and friendly atmosphere. But rooms are very dated. The bathroom sink was cracked, toilet seat was old and very scuffed up. Under the bed had 5 or 6 candy bar wrappers and a dog toy that had been left by previous quests. Also out room was on the second floor with no elevator. I’m 70 yrs old with back issues and on oxygen.. it was very difficult getting luggage up stairs. The grounds are very nice and a beautiful lawn to enjoy the view"

New Cozy Tiny Cabin Nestled in the Hiawatha National Forest

"We loved the cabin's location away from paved roads. It was super clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We especially enjoyed getting out on the kayaks to cruise around the private lake and getting up close to a pair of Trumpeter Swans. One day was spent touring the Pictured Rocks, another canoeing down the AuTrain River, and a third hiking to Miner's Beach. Am planning to return next fall."
