This coquettish holiday rental is ideal for a family of 8 people to spend their holidays, only 12 km from Ronda. In fact, this house lies in the countryside that characterises the area that surrounds the city of El Tajo, one of the Andalucia’s most neuralgic points. Inside the villa, you will find a double height dining-living room with a fireplace and some wide windows overlooking the terrace and the hills that extend behind it. The independent kitchen is attached to it, and together they create a lovely living area. Regarding the bedrooms of the villa, where you can recharge your batteries and enjoy some regenerating nights of sleep, you will find two with a double bed each, and one bedroom with two bunk beds. A bathroom with shower completes the indoor facilities of the villa. The outdoor area is a spacious terrace featuring a lovely private pool where you can cool off during the hot summer days. There’s a Balinese bed to spend your summer evenings at best, and a swinging sofa that will rock you to some deep siestas. Not to mention the outdoor area for “al fresco” dining, on the porch, and the one in the shadow of a centenary tree. Near the latter, you and your family are provided with a ping-pong table and a soccer table, to engage in fun activities during your free time. There is also an outdoor toilet. Einige wichtige Punkte müssen jedoch kritisiert werden. Es gibt weder eine Klimaanlage noch einen Ventilator, was die Unterkunft bei heißem Wetter unerträglich macht. Zu unserer Überraschung bat ich den Eigentümer, zumindest Ventilatoren bereitzustellen, wie in der Grundausstattung der Unterkunft angegeben. Seine Antwort war, einfach „die Fenster zum Lüften zu öffnen“. In einer zweiten Nachricht riet er uns jedoch, Türen und Fenster fest geschlossen zu halten, aus Angst vor eindringenden Tieren. Dies ist ein bedauerlicher Widerspruch, insbesondere angesichts der fehlenden Moskitonetze: Es ist daher unmöglich zu lüften, ohne von Insekten befallen zu werden. Wir fanden außerdem einen Skorpion in einem der Schlafzimmer, was besonders beunruhigend ist, insbesondere in einer Unterkunft, die Urlaubern absolute Sicherheit bieten soll. Die Küche ist bei der Ankunft sehr spärlich ausgestattet: Nur Salz ist vorhanden. Es gibt keine Grundausstattung: Kaffee, Tee, eine Flasche Wasser, Öl, Gewürze, Zucker oder Geschirrspül- oder Waschmittel. Man muss also alles vor der Ankunft besorgen. Das nächste Restaurant oder Geschäft ist etwa 15 Autominuten entfernt. Auch die Außenansicht ist enttäuschend. Der Garten entspricht nicht den in der Anzeige gezeigten Fotos, die offensichtlich schon einige Jahre alt sind. Der Pool hingegen ist durch einen grünen Randstreifen und eine leicht grünliche Schicht am Boden gekennzeichnet – offensichtliche Anzeichen für mangelnde Pflege oder fehlendes Chlor und eine unzureichende Filterung. Was die Ruhe betrifft, sollte man sich der erheblichen Lärmbelästigung bewusst sein: Die Hunde der Nachbarschaft bellen nachts häufig, und die Hähne krähen bereits um 2:30 Uhr morgens, was es schwierig macht, die Fenster zu öffnen und frische Luft zu schnappen. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass diese Unterkunft Potenzial hat, aber mangelnde Instandhaltung, die sehr begrenzte Ausstattung und einige Unstimmigkeiten zwischen Werbung und Realität machen den Aufenthalt deutlich unangenehmer als erhofft. ##### Lahcen I. Abschließend besondere Erwähnung für den Besitzer Manuel und seinen Bruder, die sehr gute Leute sind, sehr diskret und immer bereit, Ihnen zu helfen und immer zu Ihrer Verfügung, wenn Sie sie brauchen.
