(PLEASE NOTE: this apartment has other three rentals available in the same building at property number #8970626, #8970617 and #11149015). This elegant and comfortable apartment does conciliate the centrality of the location with such a spacious and cozy flat: furnished in a very sophisticated Italian style and completed by with typical wood beamed ceilings provides a stunning atmosphere and envelopes visitors with a cozy holiday feeling. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge and stove. The bathroom includes a shower. Washing machine and hanging rack are available. Autonomous central heating and Air condition. Each room has a TV. The apartment has a bedroom with two double beds and a separate lounge with a double sofa bed. A free wi-fi internet connection is provided. With their famous and central location, it is easy to walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Foro Romano, Piazza Venezia, Campo dé Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican. L'appartement est propre et assez bien équipé là aussi, très bien. Par contre, il n'y a pas du tout deux chambres, l'appartement est composé comme suit: Une grande entrée dans laquelle on trouve un canapé-lit, à droite une immense chambre avec deux canapés-lits, à gauche une petite cuisine assez bien équipée et la salle de bain en prolongement (spacieuse et propre). Par rapport aux photos de l'annonce, ce n'est pas du tout ça les seules photos qui correspondent à l'appartement sont: - la n°5 et la n° 20 où l'on voit le clic clac de l'entrée (les trois couchages sont des canapés-lits (clic clac), pas de vrai lit.) - la n° 4, un des clic-clac de la chambre - la n°8 qui correspond effectivement à la cuisine (quoique la photo doit un peu dater car les la cuisinière n'est pas aussi belle) - la photo n°12, la porte d'entrée! - n°14, vue depuis la seule vraie chambre - n°22, salle de bain Sinon, pas de vrai lit, pas de cheminée, pas de beau plafond en pierre! Encore un autre détail, les fenêtre de l'entrée/chambre et de la chambre donne sur une cour qui donne directement sur les escaliers donc difficile de laisser ouvert car 0 intimité! Voilà, en résumé, l'appartement est ok si on est au courant de ça, la situation est agréable, plutôt calme et bien situé mais les photos sont clairement mensongères! Petit détail qui mériterait d'être amélioré mais qui était peut-être une mauvaise compréhension avec la personne en charge du ménage, nous avions convenu de rendre les clés à midi et en revenant à 11h40 pour récupérer nos valises, se laver les dents etc... le ménage avait déjà été fait et nos affaires déplacées... et nous avons croisé les occupants suivants en quittant le logement... Bref! Ce n'est pas ce logement que je retiendrai pour un prochain séjour! ##### Estelle V. Luigi a été très serviable, notamment pour nous permettre de poser nos bagages avant l'heure, car nous n'arrivions pas tous en même temps. Le prix est très raisonnable. Le quartier est charmant: zone piétonne tout près, restaurants et boutiques au coin de la rue, à distance pédestre du quartier navona/ trevi et du vatican. Les appartements sont propres et il y a tout le nécessaire. Un peu sombres cependant: la moitié des fenêtres donne sur la cage d'escalier ou un puits de jour. nous étions décus par le fait qu'il n'y a pas vraiment deux chambres mais plutôt une grande chambre ( avec deux grands lits) et la salle à manger avec un canapé/ lit double, et que pour aller à la salle de bain/ toilette il faut traverser la chambre. Comme nous étions 7 pour les deux appartements, ce n'était pas très confortable. Ceci n'apparait pas sur les photos. En tenant compte de cette répartition de l'espace, je recommande cette location! ##### anne a. Séjour de 2 nuits en novembre 2015 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Alessandro M., Los Angeles 8 sept. 2025 Points faibles : Propreté The posted pictures of the apartment were misleading and actually it was in very poor condition the kitchen was not usable and the bathroom was in disrepair with water shooting out of the toilet tank and shower. When I contacted the host to request a repair of the toilet valve that was spraying water every time we flushed he said he was busy on vacation and could not repair it for us which was just as well because he said it was hot anyway and splashing water was refreshing. Really? The address we were provided was incorrect and non-existent although nearby we were unable to locate our apartment until he finally answered the phone and told us we were lost and that it was our confusion that caused the problem when actually it was the incorrect address we were provided by the website and app. Overall the apartment was less than acceptable to say the least. The common areas(stairs and entry hall)were filthy, the fountain shown in the post was actually a dripping faucet that was filling a stone basin, holding stagnant water resulting in an excessive mosquito infestation that made things even less desirable. ##### Alessandro M. The location is as good as it gets. In a lovely safe area, with fantastic restaurants and boutique shops all around, as well as a short walk from Navona square. Check in was difficult as we got there at 1am and the key didn’t work. My advice is take a taxi here straight from the airport if there are a few of you - don’t go to Termini station first. The apartment was very well equipped. The main down side is that there is no noise insulation. Luigi, the host, is very responsive and highly recommended. ##### Aidan B. The shower is miniature in size - I am a tiny 50kg woman and felt claustrophobic in it as it was so small. The small amount of water which flowed out of the spout sprayed everywhere but where needed, and along with the leaking shower base, flooded the entire bathroom. The washing machine pipe also leaked, leaving the bathroom floor like a river. Like other reviews, the washing machine does not spin properly leaving clothes very wet, which is difficult when there is no rack or line to dry them on, The kitchen is old and dirty-looking which we chose not to use. The tap stripped during our entire stay, something I also saw in a review from months before our stay. One of the “bedrooms” is the lounge area right at the front entrance of the apartment. We were on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. The stairs are very steep and narrow which made getting luggage up and down very difficult. It is obvious that the owner is just about making money and is not prepared to spend any money to fix the apartment. Luigi was pleasant and easy to deal with, however he came into the apartment during our stay while we were out to change the shower head, which I was not thrilled about. It has mattresses and shower in poor conditions. It is on the 2nd floor (on the 3rd level) with narrow stairs. It reminds me my college dormitory. The only good thing is it is located in the old town and close to tourist attractions. Also when you are in Rome try to get taxi. Love the big windows with the shutters that keeps the rooms cool and airy at night. The beds were comfortable. It was close to the Vatican and most of the attractions. The apartment itself is pretty basic, but it had everything we needed, and we didn’t come to Rome to spend time inside. Luigi and Elena were excellent about answering questions and proving check-in information. There’s a market less than 5 minutes away to pick up food and an amazing selection of cafes. We walked all over the city from here. If you have mobility issues, this apartment might be a challenge due to stairs, but stairs are everywhere in Rome… We were overall happy with our stay and thought the location was perfect for us. ##### Danielle S.
