Gabriel is a wonderful host, very amicable and polite. Nice location close to all places also very safe and quiet area. I would recommend the property 100%
The location is great and felt safe. The 100 bus and Metro station are both a few steps away. It is walking distance to Spanish steps area. The host is super friendly and communicative. He even provided so many tips and information about where to go for great views, food, supermarket etc. Check-in process was super smooth. There is AC in the unit which really helped in the heat wave. The place is well-equipped with a full kitchen (including cooking oil, spices etc), a washer (including detergent) and a full size fridge. The unit is very spacious per Rome standards. Highly recommend this place.
Lovely clean property everything we need .great location for visiting colloseum, trevi fountain. The owner was really nice met us at the property and showed us around .
Apartment was clean and a good size for two adults and two teens. In a great location with easy access to metro but also walking distance to main sites. Communication with Gabrielle was helpful and informative. Would not hesitate to book again when in Rome.
This is a wonderful place to stay! Very close to the beautiful Villa Borghese park and other tourist spots while not feeling too overrun or crowded. Gabriel was a fantastic host and helpful with recommendations for the area. He also helped us find and book a car for the airport very early in the morning which we really appreciated! For your next stay in Rome, you should definitely stay in Via Veneto! Thank you again to Gabriel!
We had a great time at this property. We particularly loved the location and we were able to walk to the Colosseum and almost all of the attractions we wanted to visit. The park directly across the street was a hit with the kids. Many many restaurants to choose from in the area. Gabriele was great and was always responsive and willing to help.
We were the first guest to stay. Lovely host - clean apartment - quiet and safe. Nice farmers market in the piazza Roberto is still working out a few kinks with the apartment as a short term rental- but it was wonderful
Gabriele was an excellent host and very attentive. The position was excellent, too, with easy walks to most of the usual tourist spots. Apartment was very clean but the laundry was cluttered with all sorts of cleaning paraphernalia.Curiously, there was a washing machine but no dryer, so clothes had to be hung on an extendible clothesline indoors, leading to long drying times. The tiny kitchen had no griller, oven or even a toaster and the kettle was full of calcium deposits that got into the coffee. Splashbacks in the kitchen and bathroom were not tiled, leading to splatters and dirty walls, especially in the kitchen. Is this typical for Europe/Italy?The bedroom was good with a very comfortable mattress. So a few upgrades needed to make it into a much more attractive proposition.
Excellent location in a comfortable neighborhood within easy access of main attractions, like Borghese Park and Spanish steps. We also could walk to Coliseum and Pantheon. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and our adult son. Washing machine worked well and was easy to use. New bathroom gave us great water pressure and the beds were comfortable. Air conditioning kept us cool! Accuracy of the listing was accurate. Gabrielle was a pleasure to work with, ensuring easy entry and commitment to help with anything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was clean, spacious, quiet, and exactly as pictured in the listing. It has somewhat of a sterile feel but the location is absolutely top notch and makes up for it. Our host Gabriele was very helpful with suggestions for eating, picking up some grocery items, and with arranging a private transfer from the airport. It should be noted that there is no comfortable seating in the apartment. It would have been wonderful to have a small sofa or large comfortable chair which the bedroom could easily accommodate. Also, bathroom hooks are needed. The bathroom sink had no drain cover and a small item of mine fell down the drain. Fortunately my husband was able tor retrieve it. Other needs: utensil tray and dish towels/paper towels.Altogether, it was a comfortable and convenient stay. (The bed was great! Also nice to have the washer.)
The host was very attentive and the location was good. However, the toilet seat was broken the entire time. There was no where to hang your coat or towels, no hooks or hangers anywhere. We had to put towels and coats on the backs of chairs. There were no dish towels either. There are no comfortable seats. Another thing to mention is that there is a buzzer/doorbell that people passing by on the street can ring. This woke us up two nights in a row. One time the person would not stop buzzing it! It’s like you’re living inside of a white, empty box with no where to hang anything up and no where to sit down.
Close proximity to train station. Spacious, clean and comfortable apt but parking garage listed is not available as it is currently being renovated. It was very difficult trying to locate an alternative place to park. We ended up parking a mile away and walking. It was noisy, as it is above a cafe and on the edge of a busy square.
The A/C worked perfectly. The guest book and train schedule was nice.
It would be nice to have the recycling bins under the sink labeled. We were confused on which bin to put items.
Wonderful apartment in a nicer area of town, close to public transportation (buses and Metro). The apartment is furnished with everything you need from its kitchen with a full sized refrigerator to its newly renovated bathroom with spacious luxurious shower, and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. It has a washing machine as an extra bonus. But yet the best part is the host, Gabriele, who does his absolute best to make your stay as wonderful as possible. He offered suggestions on restaurants and the best place to watch the sunset while having drinks or a meal... just up the street. The host is excellent at communicating, answering texts promptly, greeting you upon check-in, and being available to answer any questions. The apartment is on the 1st Floor, one floor up from the ground floor (what Americans call the 2nd floor) with easy to climb wide steps and an elevator for lugging all that heavy, over-packed luggage we Americans tend to travel with up one floor to the apartment. It's in a quiet area of town, not as touristy as other areas...more real shops and less souvenir shops. Easy walk to the Spanish Steps and other main attractions. We both tossed coins in the Trevi Fountain which means we're guaranteed a return trip to Rome. And if available, we would like to stay here again!
We had an excellent stay and would gladly come back. Gabriel was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and always helpful. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the espresso machine, the fresh clean towels, and the thoughtful amenities that made us feel at home. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing place to return to. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome!
This was an absolutely lovely apartment. The host was superb and provided a personal check-in experience. It is very close to Borghese Gardens, with several lovely restaurants around the corner on Via Veneto, including Harry's Bar and San Marco. The host gave recommendations for many "non -touristy" experiences. My favorite was Terrazza Borromini-best rooftop bar with stunning views of all of Rome! Thank you, Gabriele, for a wonderful experience!
We had a great stay here. Walking distance to a lot of things. The host was fantastic. The room has all the essentials needed for a longer stay . Would stay again
Our accommodations in Rome were super. Gabriele’s directions and suggestions were spot on. He even allowed us to check in early, which made our first day in Rome much easier. The rooms were clean, spacious and just as described. The kitchen was well equipped; we ate breakfast in each day. The bed was comfortable and it was great to have 2 separate rooms in case one of us wanted to rest or head to sleep early. The bathroom was spacious and modern. We were just 2, but this apartment would hold up to 4 - though somewhat more snuggly. We loved the location that was so close to the Villa Borghese and a large assortment of good, variously-priced restaurants. We would stay here again.
We loved the cleanliness and modern look of the apartment. Everything we needed was provided. We discovered a lovely local restaurant nearby, Il Fiammifero Strano, which was so so great and the owner Fillippe made all of us feel like at home! We hope to stay there again during our next Roman vacation!
