Marbres anciens ayant appartenu aux princes romains, parties des murs d'où émergent encore des fragments d'amphores : le caractère d'origine a été soigneusement préservé lors de la rénovation moderne. Il se compose de deux chambres, chacune avec un grand lit double et sa propre salle de bain accessible depuis la chambre, ainsi que d'un salon commun doté d'un canapé-lit confortable pour accueillir un cinquième invité. Le salon comprend un coin repas, une cuisine équipée d'un four combiné (avec micro-ondes), d'un réfrigérateur et d'une plaque de cuisson à gaz. Climatisation dans toutes les pièces. Pour les longs séjours (plus de 10 jours), nous pouvons fournir une machine à laver si nécessaire. La salle de bain principale en marbre jaune antique est dotée d'une douche très confortable (1,50 x 0,90 m) et d'un lavabo en marbre qui, comme les autres de la maison, a été créé à partir d'une fontaine provenant du jardin d'une des plus anciennes familles romaines. La salle de bain de la deuxième chambre, avec cabine de douche, est de plus petite taille mais pas moins soignée dans les détails, également équipée d'un sèche-cheveux et d'un robinet en bronze toujours fonctionnel du '700. La Via dei Giubbonari, qui mène à la place Campo dei Fiori, est l'une des rues les plus animées du centre-ville et regorge de boutiques. Cet appartement, situé à quelques mètres de l'ancienne Maison de Pompée, est idéal pour une exploration fascinante des mystères et des merveilles de la Ville Éternelle. Dans les maisons de la Rome antique, contrairement à aujourd'hui, les appartements du rez-de-chaussée et du premier étage étaient les plus précieux, car ils offraient une plus grande sécurité en cas d'incendie, alors très fréquent : les plafonds en bois de cet ancien appartement ne sont pas très hauts (environ 2,20 mètres). Les hôtes fort accueillants ont aménagé cet espace avec goût et souci du détail traduisant leur passion pour l'archéologie et la mise en valeur de leur patrimoine architectural. Also, perfect for walking or taking a taxi to visit sites in Rome. Checking in and out were very convenient. Though we arrived very early prior to check-in the host informed us of a luggage holding company within close walking distance to the property and that was critical. I was really happy with the luggage holding company location, the ease of dropping the luggage off, and the price. It made our waiting time for check-in very relaxed. We had coffee and croissants right around the corner and just sat and took it all in. We actually checked in a little early and getting into the apartment was a fast and smooth movement - nothing like trying to check into a hotel. I really appreciated that touch. Check-out was equally as smooth. We just packed and walked down the stairs to a taxi. Lastly, we enjoyed the apartment with the two bedrooms and bathrooms, the location near shops and restaurants, and the friendliness of the local cafe staff. ##### Kerry L. It was centrally located, close enough to walk to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. There are several restaurants very close as well as small markets for incidentals. The unit itself was beautiful with lovely Italian touches throughout. The beds were comfortable, sheets were in good condition, and towels were ample. Walk to most attractions. Area does get congested and pick up/drop off was a bit challenging when deliveries and vendors were setting up. The apartment was exactly as it looked in the photos. It was so clean and comfortable. The location could not have been better. We were right next door to my favorite restaurant. I did however ask for the sheets to be washed without fragrance's due to my allergies but unfortunately the request wasn't met so my stay wasn't very comfortable. Other then that the location is good and has what you need for a short stay. Communication getting into the apartment was good. Take earplugs as the doors are very heavy and when other apartments shut there doors from the stairwell there is a loud slam. ##### Sharyn D.
