Studio d’Artista welcomes you in Via del Babuino, inside a quiet courtyard shielded from the noise but immersed in beauty. Once the workshop and home of a painter, it will become your inspiring hideaway. On the ground floor, you will find a small living room with kitchenette, a niche for breakfast, and an essential bathroom. Upstairs, the mezzanine offers a cozy bed, custom-made wardrobes, and soft carpet underfoot. Smart TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and an art set are included: if you feel like it, leave a sketch behind. It was relatively clean but I felt the need to wear shoes in the place especially since the host wore them all over the inside downstairs.There are 2 downsides to the place.One is that if you are over 5’8” tall, you can’t stand up straight in the bedroom or in the shower.The other is that there is no way to block out light for sleeping. There is a partial curtain on one window and none on the frosted front door. Since it’s a loft, there is no door on the bedroom and it’s quite bright for sleeping. ##### Christa T.
