The spiral stairway to the mezzanine bedroom might not be so convenient for older residents. The staff was attentive and helpful, and there was always someone at the desk if we had questions. I took a group of college students as part of an ancient literature course, and they all loved it. The rooms are spacious and charming, each unique, and despite some dated features, things were well taken care of. The road noise was a bit of a problem for sleeping, but the excellent location more than made up for this. We were able to walk to the bus stops and metro easily, and we used the public transportation system many times. The building is charming and if you like 1970s style you will love the rooms - they are actually small apartments with kitchenette. They have not been recently updated, that is pretty clear, but they are totally functional. The street is busy, but the flow of traffic did not disrupt our sleep.
