Among its great assets, a large terrace overlooks the clock towering over nearby Piazza dell'Orologio. It sleeps up to 4 people, thus being ideal for two couples of friends or a family holiday. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of an ancient building, with an elevator up a flight of 15 steps. There is an entrance hall that leads to the living room furnished with two sofas and two armchairs, a dining table with 4 seats, a couple of low tables, old desk and commode, all that may seem desirable for watching television and other vacation activities. On one side of the living room, a window corridor separates the bedrooms. A double bedroom is located at one end of the corridor, it has wardrobe, suit hanger, desk and side tables, also windows with a balcony overlooking the rear of the house, with a picturesque Rome view, and an inner bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, and set in a separate corner of the apartment. It includes cooker, oven, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, Nespresso Coffee Maker and a wall table to put things on or sit at while cooking and eating - be it the Italian way or not - but you'd better use the dining room for a mealtime. A separate closet along the corridor contains the washing machine. At the other end of the corridor there is a twin or double bedroom, past which you get into a small room with wardrobe, a desk with one seat, an armchair, a balcony that overlooks the rear of the house, with the same picturesque Rome view, apart from another inner bathroom with tub. The apartment has air-conditioning units in the bedrooms and living room. Access to the private terrace is granted solely to Clock House's renters through an external flight of steps up to the top level by steps or elevator. The terrace is equipped with a kitchenette to make breakfast or warm up food, and also a dining table with chairs. \-Check-in- Standard check-in: 15:00-21:00\. (3pm to 9pm) Check-ins after 21:00 (9.00 pm) can be arranged for an additional cost of €50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. Check-out: by 11:00. Flexibility for check-in and check-out times is available, subject to apartment availability and cleaning requirements. An extra fee of €35 will be applied for check-ins on the following dates: December 25, January 1, and Easter Sunday. At check-in, guests must provide identification documents for all individuals staying in the apartment and sign the rental agreement. \-General Rules- The following are not allowed in this apartment: \- Organizing parties \- Smoking \- Bringing pets \- Making noise during rest hours (22:30 to 09:00 - We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and tasteful and the terrace was like having a little haven in the centre of Rome. We had breakfast here and the fact that the terrace is on the upper floor was no inconvenience whatsoever. The clock tower overlooking the terrace gave it an added charm. The location of the apartment was brilliant because we were in the historic centre and yet we did not feel we were in a tourist area. The restaurants below the apartment were frequented by the locals, which was to our liking! The apartment is also within easy reach of bus stops to key destinations so we were never had to walk far to catch a bus. We found the management of the apartment excellent as they responded promptly to any concerns we had. I would certainly stay in this apartment again for my next visit to Rome. ##### Eveline C. Séjour de 5 nuits en avril 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### sylvie d. 1 mai 2017 #### Appartement très bien situé et bien distribué pour 2 couples La situation de cet appartement est exceptionnelle: en plein centre, dans un quartier où petits restos, bars et superettes sont nombreux.... Tout se visite à pied: le Colisée, le Vatican, la place d'Espagne sont à environ 30 à 40 mn (sans se presser !) . Et tout le reste: place Navone, Fontaine de Trevi, Panthéon, Castel San Angelo, etc.... sont à moins de 15 mn. Déambuler dans les petites rues piétonnes du centre est un vrai plaisir. Quant à l'appartement, il est très bien conçu, notamment pour héberger 2 couples. Les chambres sont en effet bien indépendantes, chacune avec sa salle de bain. L'espace commun est de taille tout à fait raisonnable. Et le must est la terrasse: certes il faut quitter l'appartement et monter un étage, mais cela en vaut la peine! Bien aménagée, on peut soit y farnienter dans les chaises longues , soit y manger "sur le pouce" (petit magasin juste en dessous qui propose plein de sortes de tartes et pizzas). Il reste l'accueil (parfait) et le transfert depuis l'aéroport (bien organisé). Merci à Emmanuel et ses collaboratrices grâce à qui notre séjour fut parfait! ##### sylvie d. Had one blip with the power because we used too many appliances at once (our bad completely), but the hosts were quick to respond on how to turn it back on. One note: both bathrooms have dangerous steps and they added some visual signs so visitors don't fall. No accidents with us, but I would imagine it could be difficult with younger children. Overall, great couple of days in Rome. Would book again! ##### Gina R. The layout of the space is a split floor plan with a nice cozy living room to plan for a day of exploring. The AC worked great and is in both bedrooms and the living room. Super comfy beds and we appreciated that coffee was provided. The rooftop terrace is great for a nightcap with great views! The hosts were super helpful and friendly, they helped us out when we made a small error with the keys and they were very kind about it. The neighborhood has everything you need within walking distance (right downstairs!) restaurants, cafes and shopping and it is close to so many attractions that you can easily walk to. You only have to walk up 1 flight of stairs to get to the lift to take you to the 4th floor. We were assisted with transport to and from the airport, greeted by a friendly staff member who introduced us to the wonderful space! It was comfortable, spacious and the upstairs patio was amazing. We had an incredible time in Rome, this location was perfect, walkable to everything, right in the middle of everything. We would definitely stay here again. The apartment was clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed with super comfy beds. The location couldn’t be better—easy access, surrounded by great coffee shops and restaurants, and we walked to everything. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
