Located in Rome’s historical center, this quiet apartment is in a strategic position to visit the Eternal City.
Via Panisperna, where the apartment is located, has been ranked by "Time Out" as the coolest street in Italy (17th in the world - 2025 ranking).
Major city’s touristic and iconic sites can be reached with a pleasant walk through charming center alleys and streets:
Imperial Fora (8 mins) and Colosseum (10 mins)
Piazza Venezia (10 mins) or Trevi Fountain (14 mins)
Spanish Steps (18 mins) or Pantheon (20 mins)
Easy to reach all other Rome places because Cavour metro stop is just 5 minutes walk away.
This comfortable apartment, ideal for a couple or a family, offers a relaxing accommodation for up to 4 guests.
It consists of a double bedroom (bed size 160 x 190 cms), a living room with dining table and sofa double bed (will be prepared only in case of 3 or 4 guests booking), a bathroom with tube, a kitchen and a terrace furnished with table and chairs.
The apartment is fully refurbished and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay: free Wi-Fi, autonomous air conditioning (bedroom and living room), autonomous heating, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, Nespresso and kettle.

Let us know if you need help or advice on:
- Private taxi from/to airports, train stations and Civitavecchia harbor.
- Private guided tours to archeology sites or museums.
- Rome private custom sightseeing tour in a golf cart.
- Cooking class and home dinner with the chef.

As requested by Italian law, upon check-in the guest will be requested to provide id document for any person hosted and will have to sign a rental agreement in Italian.
For booking for up to 2 guests will be prepared only the double bed. Only in case of booking for 3 or 4 guests will be prepared also the sofa bed.
For stays equal to or greater than 14 days, a payment of € 95 in cash is required upon check-in as an addition to the cleaning fee for housekeeping and the change of all linens on the day in the middle of the stay between 10:00AM and 04:00PM.
Late check-in from 09:00PM to midnight costs 30€ to be paid cash upon check-in. It's not possible to check-in after midnight.
Host is not responsible for any guest belongings left or forgotten in the house after checkout time.

Lots of space and good location. Many steps to this apartment up a spiral staircase (2nd story means 2 flights of steps). If you are going to Rome, you will be doing a lot of steps all day anyway. This wasn't an issue for us, but could be for you lugging 50 pounds of luggage. Many Rome residence in this building and there is a front door key and main building entrance key. Very safe. Grocery store right across the street and 6 stores up. Many things to walk to within 7 minutes. Good start point for a lot of the attractions in the area and 14 min walk from train station. Note: Must see Bone Chapel 12 min walk. Put it on your list. Plus all the obvious stuff. We did 18K steps every day on average.

Lovely apartment in fantastic neighbourhood. Close to so much. Cool street with jazz/blues bar right across the street. Very clean and modern inside. Lots of bedroom/clothing storage. Diego was there to meet us with all the instructions. And a super powerful air conditioning for the 35 degree June days. Fast wi-fi and easy to connect. And new windows that make the apartment super quiet. The balcony was nice but with the heat we didn’t use it much. Was very clean when we arrived. The main room could’ve used a comfy chair, in addition to the sofa already there.

Best Kept Secret in Rome - Monti

If you want to be able to walk everywhere in Rome - south to the Colisseum and Forum, west to Trastevere, NW to the historical centre (Trevi Fountain) and N to the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese, then look no further. Two floors up (no lift) with what seem to be triple-glazed windows that shut out 95% of street sounds. Downstairs a few doors away a restaurant, grocery store, and fabulous live music spot Charity Cafe Jazz Blues Club. A few streets away is Blackmarket Hall - more live music down in the cellars of a former monastery, and great food. The apartment itself has tons of storage, space to stretch out and arrange your things, cupboards full of everything you need for daily living, and bonus - french doors to a lovely little balcony with another small covered terrace off the kitchen. Wonderful comfy mattress with nice bedding on the platform bed. This is the Rome you are hoping you'll findl.

The apartment itself was fair, not that clean, the lock to the apartment is a huge challenge, check out was 10 but cleaner showed up at 9, the air conditioning did not work properly in the bedroom. Great street, great location. I would NOT stay here again

Spacious, quiet, and clean apartment near the Roman ruins

I spent a wonderful week in this Roman apartment. Super close to the Colosseum, Forum, and an easy walk to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. I walked everywhere this week - the farthest being the Vatican at 50 minutes away. But time flies on your feet with so much to see in Rome. Communication with the host was easy, the apartment was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed having the kitchen and interior balcony. My only suggestion would be to beef-up or replace the couch cushions to make for a comfortable spot to lounge pyner than the bed.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We spent 9 days at this apartment in October of 2024. It is very well set up and came with everything we needed. This was our fourth trip to Rome and we've always stayed in Monti, a truly unique neighborhood. There are two flights of stairs to access the apartment that are easily climbed. Be sure to visit Trattoria Il Tettarello for a great meal at reasonable prices. We highly recommend this apartment, Donatella is great host and easy to contact.

Really nice and well appointed apartment

Really enjoyed our stay. Classic European walk up apartment with an internal balcony, good appliances, and double pane swing in windows that effectively blocked out the street noise. Strategically located half way between the colosseum and the main train station. Very responsive and friendly host. Highly recommended!

Great Location

Owner met us at apartment to let us in. The space was accurate as listed. The biggest draw for us was the location - so many great shops and restaurants in walking distance in addition to the colosseum. No TV for those that want to spend more time in the unit.
