First night was an abbaration as someone did not clean the floor. They fixed it in the morning and hereafter everything was great. The staff were so helpful and couldnt do enough to make you feel like a special guest,nothing was too much trouble even opening the bar for us when it had closed. I really cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our 8 night stay. We will really miss them. We had 2 rooms, one a triple in pics and a double that looked exactly like the blue/yellow room on website. It’s off the beaten track but only a 10 min walk to train stations. It felt authentically Italian which we loved, it’s an older building so has a shabby glamorous feel to it but all amenities worked perfectly. The staff were really lovely and helpful whenever we needed them/passed them. While we were there it was quiet during day and night so got a great sleep.
