We initially booked 2 rooms for 4 people. When we checked in, they gave us 2 rooms for the disabled. As a result, rooms were full of disabled compliant equipment. It looked like an hospital. I understand there is a need for handicap equipment in some rooms, but we never ask that and we are not disabled yet... Besides that, rooms were smelly, floor and walls were old and worn, some fixtures were falling apart. When we start to complain, they showed us 2 other rooms, a little better, but still very old and worn out. When we looked more closely to the hotel in general, it looks worn out everywhere, walls, wood panels, furnitures, floors... the hotel needs a complete remodeling. As we were not satisfied even with the other rooms they showed us, we asked for our money back if they couldn't find a solution. Then the manager came in, was very defensive instead of being nice. After arguing for a while at the point we wanted out, he offered in last resort a big suite. It calmed us down because as a consequence we were upgraded quite a lot. But still furnitures were old, worn out and uncomfortable. A/C was making a loud rattling noise, so to be able to sleep we had to shut it down. The indoor pool was not working the first day and second day water was freezing cold (around 20°C). Second night, no turn down service, and no water for us. In conclusion, hotel needs full remodeling, deco is outdated and worn out, and staff especially the manager gave us an attitude instead of apologizing.
