Newly renovated and furnished, very central position at five-minute walk from St. Peter's, a few bus stops from the main monuments of Rome and from Trastevere district. The apartment is located in a quiet and safe private street. It is functional and perfect for Those Who wish to delve into and enjoy the Caput Mundi and not suffer traffic and city noises. We are only five minute-walk far from Piazza San Pietro and its Basilica. The apartment is furnished with care and elegance, perfect for a couple or a family. The beautiful parquet floor gives an extra charm to this lovely apartment Which is very bright and has three balconies, ideal for having breakfast in the open air or for relaxing in the sun. St. Peter's columnade is only five-minute walk! Nonetheless, the area is not outrageously touristic and instead Maintains its residential character. It is close to all amenities and shops of every kind (24 hours supermarket, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, pizzerias, pastry shops). St. Peter's Basilica entertains Numerous masterpieces and admission is free. The Vatican Tourist Office, located in St. Peter's Square, arranges guided tours of the basilica, the beautiful Vatican gardens and Vatican Museums. You can walk to the other side of the columnade and to the famous streets of the Roman shopping such as Via Cola di Rienzo, Via Ottaviano, Via del Corso. By a brief walk you can visit Castel S. Angelo with its gardens and the Janiculum hill with its stunning (the best!) view of Rome. You can reach Trastevere and its characteristic alleys and typical haunts on foot too. The center of Rome is wide but it is easy and more interesting to visit it on foot and the central position of the Roma Caput Mundi make it the ideal accommodation to spend a great vacation in Rome. Also you can use the public transportation. The 64 bus stop is at three-minute walk from the apartment. It runs frequently and in a few minutes you can reach to most magical and unique locations of the Caput Mundi such as Campo de 'Fiori, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon. The closest underground stop is "Ottaviano" (line "A") and is located on the other side of the columnade of St. Peter's (fifteen- minute walk from the apartment). The taxi stand is at 200 meters. St. Peter's train station is at five-minute walk and you can reach Fiumicino airport by train changing at Trastevere station. At St. Peter's station Also you can take the train to go to the northern beaches of Rome (Santa Marinella, Santa Severa, Civitavecchia). At the opposite end of via delle Fornaci, on the top of the hill, you will find Villa Pamphili, the largest park of Rome, where you will be incendio hike, have pic-nics, or simply strolling around for miles. Also not far is the Triumphal open market (the largest in Italy) where you will find fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, cheese, pizza, fresh pasta. We couldn't have hoped for a better place to spend a week in Rome! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped, and charming. We were only a few minutes walk from St. Peter's, and only a block from a bus stop that provided easy access to all of Rome's attractions. Our host, Marina, responded quickly to questions, and even provided us with cake and a bottle of wine to welcome us to Rome. Highly recommend this rental! ##### Annette W. It matches both the pictures and the description, and it is spotless clean and very well equipped. The hosts, Marina and Fernandino did meet us upon arrival and introduced us to the apartment. They also introduced us to Roma in general. They even checked in during our stay to ask in we where OK. The apartment is very close to the Vatican and within walking distance to most scenic places. Even though, it is quiet without any traffic noice. The hosts where very helpfull with information before we arrived and also they arranged transportation to airport for our home journey. Bei dieser Wohnung ist, unserer Meinung nach, so gut wie alles perfekt. Angefangen bei den ausgesprochen freundlichen Vermietern. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt an einer sehr ruhigen Privatstrasse. Wir haben dort sehr gut geschlafen. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die nächste Bushaltestelle und eine Taxistation. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 300 Meter entfernt. Den Petersplatz ereicht man zu Fuß in ca 7 Minuten. Die angebotene Wohnung entspricht in allen Details dem Inserat! Sie liegt zentral und dennoch sehr ruhig im 5\. Obergeschoss. Ein Fahrstuhl ist vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist groß genug für 3-4 Personen, besitzt insgesamt 3 Balkone. Sie ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, vollständig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Bei unserer Anreise hat uns Marina sehr herzlich empfangen und uns gleich viele sehr nützliche Tipps zu Rom gegeben. Schon im Vorfeld war sie stets hilfsbereit und hat alle unsere Fragen beantwortet. Marina war jederzeit erreichbar und hat sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Kommunikation in Englisch hat sehr gut funktioniert. Die Wohnung eignet sich wunderbar für die Erkundung von Rom. Sie liegt lediglich 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Petersdom entfernt. Die Bushaltestelle ist lediglich 2 Minuten entfernt. Wir haben nahezu alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreicht. Unser Fazit: Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit in Rom gehabt. Einen großen Anteil daran hatte auch die schöne Wohnung von Marina! Vielen Dank! ##### Oliver O. Dieser Service war natürlich kostenpflichtig, jedoch viel günstiger als Taxi oder gar Limousinenservice. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und sehr gut und modern eingerichtet. Es hat uns Freude bereitet, hier den einwöchigen Aufenthalt in Rom verbringen zu dürfen. Durch die Lage der Wohnung hin zur aurelianischen Mauer war vom Verkehrslärm wenig zu hören. Insgesamt hat uns unser Aufenthalt in Marinas Apartment sehr gefallen. Hervorzuheben sind die Freundlichkeit von Marina und ihrem Ehemann. It was just as described in the listing in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the Vatican. The air conditioning worked great and we were so glad it did! Bed was comfortable and other amenities were as listed. The 64 bus has a stop just a block up the street that took us to Downtown Rome. The subway is about a 20 minute walk way from the Metro and the apartment is on the opposite side of where the Vatican Museums are. If you are not in shape, it may be more walking than you want to do. Overall, the hosts were wonderful to work with, gave us good tips and made us feel very welcome. Great experience! ##### Trudi M. Mar 7, 2019 #### A peaceful oasis in a lovely neighborhood! My husband and I stayed at the flat for two and a half weeks and couldn't have been happier! It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, but with restaurants, and lovely food stores nearby. A short walk to St. Peter's, and easy walking distance to other parts of the city as well. The flat itself is lovely; clean and modern, recently updated . Although it was winter, the weather was good enough on a few days to enjoy some time on the three small balconies, and when it was colder, the apartment was toasty warm and cozy. We like to cook and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. The bathroom is also tastefully updated with a small shower and excellent water pressure. The host is wonderful; she is provided excellent information on how to reach the apartment, great tips for enjoying the area, and even arranged a nice car service for our trip back to the airport. On Sundays there is an open air market a few streets away and a chance to enjoy some food from other areas of Italy. At night, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and the bedroom has an atmosphere of spacious serenity.
