We had such a wonderful time staying at the Blue Loft. Beautiful, modern accommodations in an ancient building and neighborhood. We lived like locals for a couple of days and it made our experience in Rome very special. Our hostess, Silvia, was very warm and helpful. She gave us a number of suggestions for dining and travelling around town. She offered to let us check out late on our departure date. She shared the unique history of the building which has been in her family for generations. It’s located in the Monti neighborhood, which was absolutely perfect—full of great restaurants, cute shops, and super walkable. It was also just about a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum, which made exploring really easy. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet at night. The host was very communicative and made everything smooth. We especially loved the balcony and the artsy, fun decor.
