Our Roku TV boxes give free access to a wide selection of Spectrum Cable Channels, and also allows you to login to your own personal streaming TV providers, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount, Disney, etc. There is a boardwalk to the pool and over the dune to the beach. We are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Rodanthe Pier. Enhanced Cleaning and Safety Measures In response to the current crisis, our cleaning service has significantly enhanced its protocols to ensure your safety. Additionally, we have installed a UV light disinfection system in our HVAC unit to help eliminate airborne COVID-19, as well as other viruses and bacteria. To allow our team ample time for thorough cleaning, our standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. However, if cleaning is completed earlier, a notice will be placed on the door, and you may enter as soon as 2:00 PM. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our space safe and clean. POOL - POOL - For 2026, the pool should be open from May 16 through October 18\. Please do not take any glass containers to the pool. There is no lifeguard. Please watch your children closely. LINENS and TOWELS: Please note that linens (sheets and towels) are NOT provided with this rental. We do provide blankets, pillows, and comforters. Otherwise, These may be rented from our housekeeping service, Hatteras Helping Hands. Do a web search to find their number. RENTAL POLICY: From May through September we rent Saturday to Saturday only. Other than that, there is a 3 night minimum for the remainder of the year. Our Condominium Bylaws do not allow Dogs and we do not allow any other pets. Minimum Primary Renter Age is 23. ID and RENTAL AGREEMENT: We require that you e-sign our rental agreement and also that you provide a clear and legible copy of your drivers license or government issued picture ID with your current address. Failure to provide this within 48 hours of your reservation may be considered as your cancellation of your reservation and possible loss of your payment, based on our refund policy. REFUND POLICY: We know that things can happen. You can purchase trip insurance that provides reimbursement if you can't make your trip. Our refund policy is 97% if cancellation is received before 60 days out, and 50% if received more than 30-59 days out. The 97% is because the credit card company does not refund the credit card fee. It is not uncommon to have a mandatory evacuation from the coastal areas during Hurricane Season and it seems to happen at least once every few years. You will not receive any reimbursement unless you have purchased travel insurance, which is available during initial booking. In the event of a hurricane, please bring the outdoor furniture into the living room, close and lock all doors and windows, then depart ASAP. If you will need housing, call and make reservations at another hotel out of the evacuation area immediately, before or while leaving, because all regional hotels fill rapidly during evacuations. It's somewhat isolated, so you aren't fighting for space to setup your canopy or umbrella, and, at least when I went there during the last week of August, you aren't worried about anyone coming along and stealing your belongings if you're in the ocean for more than 5 minutes by yourself. Take from that statement what you will.As for the unit itself, overall it was good, just a couple of small issues but nothing that would ruin your vacation at all. Pictures and description match exactly what you're getting. Only major issue was one of the oven burners not operating properly on the oven as of 8/29/25, but given how responsive Charlie was, I'd say he'll get that fixed. Speaking of which, Charlie was excellent on the communication side, my stay was right after Erin came through off the coast and boogered things up for the Outer Banks. That could have made for a lousy experience, but it was anything but. Only other downside to the unit is also an upside: you're on the first floor, so you've got neighbors above you. If they've got heavy footsteps, you'll hear them. On the plus side...you're on the first floor, so getting to and from the unit is easy, and you're RIGHT next to the pool, which is awesome. Pool was well maintained and the staff member doing the cleaning knew her stuff. She's 100%. Charles was wonderful calling me and helping me devise a route back to where we could catch a flight home. He eased us through this experience. We found plenty of things to do in the area and enjoyed our evenings on the porch taking in the ocean view. The sounds of the waves crashing was just what we needed. Great condo that included everything we needed. Highly recommend the fish tacos at Buxton Munch. Definitely worth the drive. ##### Mark M.
