Checking in was easy and we really enjoyed the location. The amenities in the bathrooms were lovely and really added to the experience :) We made use of the fantastic breakfast and sat out by the fire pit even though there was a fire ban. The property is quiet but cozy. Our only issue was our room was on the second floor, and with no air conditioning it was extremely warm to sleep. We had a small ceiling fan but it was so loud neither myself or my friend were able to sleep. We turned the bathroom fan on to try to drown out the ceiling fan which helped a bit. Another thing that should be noted is the property is directly in front of a cemetery (between the house and the ocean) which may be problematic for some folks and should probably be more clear in the description/photos. Mike and April are incredible hosts who have truly thought of everything. The breakfast is the perfect way to fuel up for a day of hiking and sight-seeing. There is a ton of information laid out on local activities, restaurants, and events. And Mike and April are happy to provide recommendations on the best ways to explore the area.
