If convenience is a luxury then this hotel is 5 star even if overall it could use a little modernization and lipstick. It has easy parking, is attached to a pedestrian skyway to the Mayo hub center and easy to reach by uber from the airport.

They advertise roof top bar, more like the restaurant opens its roof not sure when since it’s Rochester. Getting into hotel is a nightmare if you weren’t informed to park in 2W area, no signage and elevator is no help.

The hotel looks beautiful, very clean and roomy. Yet when I went to take a shower this morning, only drips of water without much pressure came out. Very disappointing. When I checked out, lady at desk just apologized for the shower not working. Won’t stay there again.

We had stayed at the hotel on a Saturday night for an event. The room was fine and the hotel was quiet. We got in late and before 8am the staff was cleaning the room next to us. We had a knock at our door at 805am with housekeeping opening the door while we were still trying to sleep.

I had to travel to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, for a week.and was given the name of the hotel as one choice close to the clinics I had to visit by the concierge service. It is connected via indoor skyway to the main outpatient Mayo campus, including the Gonda building. The parking was very easy with direct acess to the hotel at the skyway level in the parking garage. The hotel is modern, central to downtown, and has a fantastic, upscale onsite restaurant called Crave. Check-in was fast, friendly, efficient, and they hooked me up with pre-paid parking garage access via a barcode sent to my phone. Flash the barcoad and you're in and out at your leisure. The room was impressively clean and confortable - definitely surpassing my expectations - containing a mini-fridge (but no microwave). The TV had probably more channels than I've seen at even the best hotels I've stayed at before. The room layout was comfortable with plenty of storage and a small sofa. Comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but efficiently laid out, with a large counter and plenty of room for all toiletries. The shower was bright, extra clean with a detachable shower head - its only weakness being low water pressure due to the water - saving design. Overall, though, considering amenities, location, and price point, this property will not disappoint and I would recomnend without any reservation.

The property was nice, but staff looked very annoyed on evening/night shift if you went to ask a question. The rooms were nice and roomy, but there wasn't even a recliner or anything to sit in. The chair that was in there reminded me of a cloth covered school desk chair. So we either had to sit on the bed or in the rolling chair at the desk. We had an appt at 1pm the day prior to my husbands surgery and his surgery was cancelled by the doctor. I called the hotel and explained our situation and we were told we couldn't get a refund for that evening because the time was now after 2pm. I explained we didn't know this was going to be canceled and needed to head home. She just said this is what policy is. Also, we paid for parking ahead of time, but then when we looked at the website it said free parking. WTH. I asked about getting a special rate for being a pt and was told that we got a discount since we paid for parking. If it is free parking then where is the discount? We did like the location with shopping close by though.

The hotel staff was extremely rude, every single one of them and I encountered atleast 5 individuals. The fridge in our room didn’t work and they couldn’t care less.
