No communication with regards to the facilities. Want breakfast? Guess where it is. Want to use the shared kitchen and dining room? What? It exists? Want to use the pool? We have a pool? There is a shared BBQ? Basically, here is your room, play where's Waldo for whats included. Beautiful accomodations though.

We regret that you still had questions and felt disoriented despite the informational sheet provided with our contacts for any inquiries. You did not inform us of your confusion, which would have allowed us to assist you better and possibly provide a more detailed tour of our amenities and accommodations.We take your feedback seriously as it helps us improve and welcome our guests in the best possible way. Great staff, overall very clean. Just the inside of the bedroom AC needs maintenance and ceiling fan we had to keep off it was full of dirt, seems it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Bathroom towels had stains in them. Quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature did it for us.

Great staff and Azul restaurant was quite good. Rooms and grounds wete well maintained. Very quiet compared to West Bay and West End, but still walkable along beach to West Bay. We liked the quiet though and had three very good restaurants to choose from and all walkable from our room.

Beautiful, tranquil hotel, 5 minutes walk to beach they are still working on their beach club that is supposed to be open soon. Breakfast is included with room rate and it is very good it includes coffee, fruit and main entree/ eggs. Rooms are spacious with beautiful views of the jungle and or the ocean. Employees are professional and go out of their way to make stay pleasant. Thank you for wonderful hospitality.

Would stay here again
I traveled solo to Honduras for my birthday two weeks ago for a nice getaway. I was concerned about being alone on this trip but the staff took excellent care of me while I was there. They transported me everywhere I needed to go and picked me up. They were extremely attentive to me and helped make my trip very enjoyable. I do not have many complaints. I would only improve on the door to my suite. It did not have a peephole and the lock on the door did not fit my portable safety lock that I bring on all trips. There was also no deadbolt on the door. As a solo traveler and a woman, this was not ideal. Other than that, I was very happy with the property, staff and the quality of the food.

This property is gorgeous and on hilltop surrounded by lush nature. The staff is very nice and the restaurant Azul has great food. Carlos was my waiter during my stay and he is just so nice and his service is great. I was traveling solo and felt this hotel was a bit removed from the action. There is a walking path that gets you to the beach but the walk back is very steep and not suited for everyone. They do offer a tuk tuk service. Overall, I did enjoy having my last 2 days on Roatan to be in a more quiet and zen setting. I feel if you have a car, this is a good option. Great for couples.

Not a four star property. Amenities not as described on Expedia website. NO WATER Pressure in bathroom. Limited hot water.. only a trickle. No beach at property..was half mile away with no guest facilities. The “beach club” mentioned by staff was under construction. Only a small pool on property that was in the shade most of day. Several items not working.. safe in our room, air conditioner broke during our stay, broken handles on drawers, insufficient furniture for guests to store clothing. The menu at restaurant was very limited and was same every day. On property Staff not very helpful & no one there at night. Nite “security” staff spoke no English. Insufficient parking for guest vehicles.

This is a superb hotel. Everything from the ocean view, outside space, comfortable room, food, and amenities are exceptional. Many thanks to the Blue Roatan staff for their assistance, they are very welcoming. We have appreciated the location, quiet on the beach, but within a short walk to West End and West Bay. The beach house, is not finished, which can be noisy at time. We'll be back.

Secluded, Personal, Relaxing Stay
My husband and I had a fantastic two nights stay at Blue Roatan Resort! We wish we could have stayed longer. The complimentary shuttle picked us up at the airport. When we arrived to Blue Roatan, we were greeted by Kenia and Gisele. Kenia gave us a tour and since we got there way before check-in time, they held our bags for us and we were able to explore the resort. It is very secluded, and therefore, so relaxing. There are a lot of different areas to sit and relax. We didn't even make it around to all of them during our stay. There was a complimentary sunset wine and cheese night that was lovely. The restaurant, Azul, is basically part of the resort and the staff there were amazing and accommodating. One night we wanted to relax in the hot tub and the restaurant staff served us our food/drinks right there. They made an effort to learn our names even though we were only there for 2 nights. We had a queen ocean view room and it was lovely. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The towels were SO soft. The chairs on our deck weren't the most comfortable to lounge in, but there were so many other areas that you could sit around the resort, that it wasn't a big deal. The beach area is decent. There are kayaks and lounge chairs. They can arrange for a water taxi down there to get to West End or West Bay. We had such a relaxing time at Blue Roatan. The personal attention, staff friendliness, comfort and seclusion made this the perfect place to stay on Roatan.

Everyone was nice and friendly. Kenia was the sweetest. She made my birthday trip the best. The room was very clean and the view was beautiful. The restaurant at the hotel was good too. The smoothies were great. An overall 10/10.

This was a lovely place! Quiet and immersed in the jungle with a nice view of the ocean. It's actually much more lovely in person. The restaurant is really nice , especially for breakfast. It has a great view! The front desk staff was so helpful in helping me with my car troubles as well. I recommend and would stay again!

We loved the Blue Roatan! Everyone was very friendly and our room was gorgeous. A few things to note; there’s not much room in the guest rooms for your clothes. No drawers to put things away so we had to leave most of our stuff in our suitcase. Also. The pool is VERY small. Like the size of a large hot tub. So that’s something to be aware of too. The beach is a little bit of a walk down the hill and not very swimmable.

This place is amazing.. it is new so things like charge to your room from the restaurant aren’t yet available and they are building a beach club area which wasn’t finished when we were there. That being said the price we paid was more than fair for the hotel and I suspect when everything is complete the price will go up. This is a beautiful spot where we felt safe and our every ask was taken care. The front desk is extremely helpful.

Beautiful property- the landscape is unbelievable. Comfortable rooms overlooking the garden and ocean. Restaurant Azul has some of the best food on the island. Would highly recommend.
