« We had a group of 16 people stay for the week and loved our time at the lake! The driveway is very steep but comfortably fit 5 cars. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard daily, fishing from the dock, and watching the beaver come out of his dam next door. I highly recommend renting the pontoon with the property as that was our favorite thing. « This was our 2nd stay in this house. It is located in a very quiet cove with deep water suitable for swimming and fishing. We spent most of the time on the dock which has nice covered area to keep yourself cool in summer heat. The house was very clean, cozy, with plenty of space to spread after a day in the sun and water. « Access for the lake was not good. Would have appreciated steps or, walkway or a railing. My husband is in heart failure an he only got to get in the boat once. Because of the climb. « This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. « We used this house mainly as a home base for a fishing trip on Smith Mountain Lake. This place was perfect since we could walk right down to the dock on the water and enjoy all the great views.
