Or, if you would prefer swimming nearby, for a fee of five dollars per person, there is the use of swimming pool facilities at beautiful Roan Mountain State Park, which is approximately 3 miles from the cabin. Delight your taste buds with a few local dining establishments: A local favorite is, Smokey Mountain Bakers. This establishment specializes in woodfired pizza and delicious homemade baked goods. Another popular establishment is Bob's Dairyland. Reasonably priced food and noted for having the best barbecue around!
