Wake up to the sunrise and sounds of many birds. The views are incredible. The staff, Larry, Luis and Francisco were incredibly helpful, taking care of every need and even coming to get us to show us monkeys on the property. Sangregado is directly across the parking lot for Mystic bridges Preserve with is an unforgettable experience. Be sure to get a guide. The Sangregedo lodge will arrange it for you. Free breakfast is great and the same restaurant also has dinner. The lodge is close to La Fortuna. We will definately be coming back on our next visit to Costa RIca. It’s very small and quaint but the views of the volcano are amazing. I love the bathtub with the window looking at the volcano. The dirt road to drive there is a little sketchy being that I’m a woman by myself and did not have a four-wheel-drive, but I made it. There’s no food on the property, but there is a resort next-door that I walked to and it was great. It is advisable to get food or drinks on your way to the hotel, there isn’t much within a 20 minute or so drive. I would definitely stay here again!"
