The room was not as clean as expected—for example, there was hair on the bed, a cracked nightstand, and the window air unit appeared to need a new filter. A few basic hospitality touches I typically rely on were also missing. Customer service felt inconsistent as well. When I checked out, the front desk attendant was counting her register in the back office and, when I asked for assistance, she called out that she was still busy and would come out shortly. Experiences like this made it difficult to fully relax during my stay. With more attention to cleanliness and more attentive guest support, this property could offer a much stronger experience." It’s not the Ritz‑Carlton, and sure, a few updates wouldn’t hurt—but I honestly think part of its charm comes from the character it already has. Plus, major renovations would only drive up the price, and the value here is already fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. And the complimentary made‑to‑order breakfast was outstanding—some of the best we’ve had in Santa Fe. The burrito is a must‑try. Overall, we’re so glad we chose to stay here and had an amazing time. Would definitely return and happily recommend it to others."
