I checked in and was given a cold welcome. Then when I went up to the room I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. When I turned on the bathroom light cockroaches started coming out and crawling up the walls. There was blood on the floor and the bed quilts were filthy. When I picked up the phone to call downstairs I dropped the phone from how dirty it was. When she arrived the check in took 15-20 minutes. Though I reserved a King size bed, it was not available so I ended up with two double beds. Thermostat in room was not functioning. Only allowed a heat setting of 77 degrees or a cool setting of 60 degrees. TV turned on by itself at midnight then powered off by itself. First thing I called the night before and the young lady I spoke with said I could check in early at 12pm. So when I arrived the next day around 1pm the gentleman at the desk said I’m sorry she told you that, she shouldn’t have told you that. But he still let me check in early and the room was ready. The room seemed clean until later that night when I got in the shower and there were hairs that did not belong to me, the hair was quite long so the staff couldn’t have missed it. Just not cleaning properly. Then the next morning I went to get more washcloths, when I was informed by the young man at the desk, I would have to go retrieve my used washcloths and bring them down to the desk in order to get new washcloths. Because guest steal washcloths and that’s their policy. Not only is that ridiculous but unsanitary and absolutely disgusting. So I had to go upstairs retrieve the washcloths that I used on my body that had bodily fluids and bring them downstairs to the front desk. That is a first for me ever. And last but not least a few hours later the maid comes into my room without knocking. She did apologizes and said they told her, I had checked out. Never once did I go to the desk and tell anyone, I was checking out. It was 9 AM and checkout is not until 11\. Not sure how they were informed that I was checking out because I never told anyone at the front desk that I was. The housekeeper was very apologetic. We didn’t even stay. The first room was disgusting, the floors were sticky, smelled like smoke and it looked like someone crushed a cigarette in the sheets. The front desk attendant told me it hadn’t been cleaned. We were given another room, and as i pulled the blanket up and moved the pillow there was a massive stain.
