Codeglia, 400 meters in altitude on the sea, a village of a few inhabitants immersed in the scent, in the silence and the colors of nature. Ideal for those who practice trekking and mountain biking.
45 sqm apartment on two floors in an ancient farmhouse, completely renovated recently.
Car: it is strongly recommended to come by car as Codeglia is not well connected with La Spezia and there aren’t shops nor restaurants near the house.
Five lands
The apartment is conveniently hi located to reach the Cinque Terre, both by car and trekking routes.
Riomaggiore only 15 km by car, Monterosso to 28 km.
Central La Spezia station only 15 minutes by car (8km).
The accommodation
The small house is located in the hills in a typical village that is a real oasis of relaxation, ideal to end the day after a visit to the crowded 5 Terre.
The accommodation has outdoor spaces: with a large terrace and a garden where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and the city of La Spezia.
The house is fully equipped including appliances such as washing machine, TV and Wi-Fi.
Habitable in all seasons as it is equipped with an independent heating system. Ideal for two people but can accommodate up to four. Wi-Fi connection available. The car is strongly recommended for travel and to reach the apartment - Note: in Codeglia there are not any supermarkets or restaurants.
The village
Codeglia represents one of the places in the Val di Vara most closely linked to the poor history of the Cinque Terre. In a past made of agriculture, animal breeding and production of caciotta. Located on the border with Riomaggiore and Manarola, along an ancient salt road, it is an excellent starting point to reach the Cinque Terre by trekking in the middle of nature.

#### A rustic gem in the hills of La Spezia
Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us! I would recommend this rental property to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle. Maria Mendez-Smith

This small home is in the most beautiful mountain overlooking the valley…absolutely stunning, with everything in the house fully renewed. Renata is amazing and such a good host, very accommodating and pleasant in answering all our questions. We would love to come back on our next trip to Cinque Terre!

#### Outstanding lodging near La Spezia
This beautiful, historic home in the hills above La Spezia was a gem. We had the entire home to ourselves, with ample room and accommodations. The home is furnished with all of the amenities required, and it's located away from the busy city, in a spectacular, scenic, mountain area near La Spezia. I can't say enough great things about our host, she was so kind, informative and helpful, our experiences in 5 Terre, would not have been the same without her. Highly recommended!

#### Quiet - perfect to switch off and relax
Keep calm and relax. That is the motto in this object. Surrounded by a lot of forest and only a few neighbours, it is quiet and simply beautiful from 0 am to midnight. However, the drive up to the car park is always a bit tricky, especially after heavy rain.

#### Great offside stay
We had a really good time in Renatas house. It is a bit offside, but not very far from La Spezia. The house is nice and clean, maybe a bit humid. Renata and her colleague are very kind, obliging and always willing to help with tips and ideas. As a group of four, two couples, it's maybe a little bit too "cosy". The location, by the way, is a very good starting point to hike the area of Cinque Terre.

We spent two wonderful weeks at the end of May and beginning of June in Renata's beautifully renovated stone cottage. The online pictures speak for themselves. It's stylishly renovated, and the location is fantastic. It's incredibly quiet, and you can see La Spezia and the Apuan Alps. There's a roof over the seating area, so you're well protected from rain and sun. However, a vehicle is absolutely necessary. The buses don't run frequently.What really made the vacation special, though, was Renata as our host. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with various drinks, homemade jam and pesto, ham, and a basket of baked goods.Every day, we were provided with even more delightful tips about what to see in the area. We followed almost all of them and had a very rich and interesting vacation.Thank you so much, Renata! You are a wonderful host! That made this vacation very special.Barbara and Jürgen

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett. Sie war erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Das Wohlbefinden der Gäste ist ihr wichtig. Das Haus ist sehr schön und ist wuderschön gelegen. Wir haben den Ausblick von der Terrasse zu jeder Tageszeit genossen. Es gibt viele Wander- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Erholung pur.

Wir waren im September für knapp 2 Wochen in Renatas Haus. Wir hatten uns bewusst für eine eher abgeschiedene Unterkunft entschieden, weil wir abends und nachts gerne unsere Ruhe haben. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen von Renata und haben noch viele Tipps für Strände, Ausflüge und Restaurants bekommen.Im Haus selbst haben wir uns wohlgefühlt, und die Räume haben wir so vorgefunden wie es auf den Bildern bei Fewo zu sehen war. Hervorzuheben ist die absolute Ruhe. Als nicht so schön haben wir empfunden, dass das kleine Hotel-Resort augenscheinlich seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr in Betrieb und verlassen ist. Auf der kleinen Terrasse abends bei einem Glas Rotwein die Aussicht auf La Spezia zu genießen, wie es die Bilder auf der Seite haben uns glauben lassen, war somit nicht möglich. Insgesamt wirkt das Dörflein selbst damit auch sehr verlassen, einige Gebäude sind komplett verfallen, andere völlig zugewachsen und verlassen, so auch das direkte Nachbargebäude. Dies hat für uns leider einen unschönen Beigeschmack gehabt, da das Dorf damit auch insgesamt sehr ungepflegt wird. Eine Herausforderung ist die Zufahrt über die Schotterpiste, wer keinen SUV hat , sitzt auf mit seinem Auto.Auch die Küchenausstattung ist eher bescheiden und lässt einige Wünsche offen. Das WLAN ist auch nur eingeschränkt verfügbar und das TV ist nur auf Arabisch, Russisch oder Türkisch und etwas Französisch zu empfangen. Unser Fazit: der Wohlfühlcharakter hat uns leider etwas gefehlt.

Super Gastgeberin mit tollen Ausflugstipps. Dusche im Haus etwas klein, tolles Haus. Um zu den Ausflugszielen oder Geschäften zu komm ist das Autofahren anspruchsvoll. Insgesamt klasse, beeindruckende Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Renata ist einer sehr tolle Gastgeberin. Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen. Während unseres Aufenthalts hatte sie immer wieder tolle und wertvolle Tipps für die Umgebung. Von La Spezia eine circa 15-20 Minütige Autofahrt. Es gibt die Möglichkeit für einen kleinen Aufpreis einen Pool zu nutzen.Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und hat alles was man braucht.Die einzige Herausforderung war eine sehr steile, kurze Schotterstrecke zum Parkplatz der Unterkunft. Wir würden wieder kommen.

#### LA PETITE MAISON DANS LA MONTAGNE
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette maison situé dans un petit hameau en montagne. Les photos ne sont pas mensongères. Elle est venue en personne nous chercher car nous étions perdus du fait qu'il y avait des travaux sur la route et qu'il fallait prendre une autre route. Si vous voulez vous reposer, c'est l'endroit idéal. très calme. La vue sur les alpes apuanes est magnifique. Renata est une personne très chaleureuse et sait recevoir ses hôtes. un pot de pesto et de la confiture d'orange ainsi que des boissons fraiches nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Les petites pâtisseries en milieu de séjour étaient excellentes. Elle nous a donné d'excellents conseils et adresses pour agrémenter notre séjour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le restaurant "la pineta". Bref, n'hésitez pas ....Merci Renata, nous garderons un excellent souvenir de vous et de votre belle petite maison où nous nous sentions chez nous.

Wunderschönes Haus mit toller Terrasse und einem herrlichen Ausblick. Renata war eine unglaublich nette Gastgeberin, die alles dafür getan hat uns unseren Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Es gab zur Begrüßung kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank, sowie von ihr selbstgemachtes Pesto und Marmelade. Sie hat uns so freundlich begrüßt und willkommen geheißen, dass wir uns sofort wohl fühlen konnten. Gleichzeitig haben wir hilfreiche und wertvolle Tipps über Ausflüge, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Parkplätze erhalten. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le logement de Rénata. Pour les amoureux de calme, c'est parfait. Rénata est une hote très agréable, à l'écoute de vos petits besoins et à vps petits soins. #### Séjour aux cinq terres
Arrivés au logement, Renata était déjà présente pour nous accueillir chaleureusement, présentation du logement et explications des choses à savoir pour optimiser notre séjour.Tout s’est très bien passé et la vue depuis la terrasse est juste magnifique,je le recommande.
