Snowshoeing is five miles. Year-round skiing at nearby Timberline Lodge, summer training for the US Olympic Team. Snowmobiling and Kid friendly ( the gate to the river can be locked) with one bedroom on the main floor, it's perfect to bring grandma and grandpa along. During the summer time enjoy hiking, jogging, walking and bike riding right out the front door. There was a minor issue with the disposal, but the owner was easy to reach and had the situation fixed within a matter of hours.
