My parents stayed here while we visited my husband's family who lives nearby. They loved the quaint town and walkability of the beautiful historic town. The listing said the hotel was air conditioned, but their room was not. They chose not to move rooms, as they had already unpacked, but that was their only complaint.

Hotel is very good and the ambiance and food is excellent, although the menu is not large. The quality of the food is typically German, well presented and tasted very nice!! Parking is the challenge. The hotel has only about 6 to 7 spaces at the front, then parking is on the road outside and overnight and only until 10:00am. Works well for business users as we usually leave early and return whne the shops have closed.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unpassend

Wir sind als Paar für ein Weihnachtsmarkt Wochenende im Ratskeller gewesen. Zimmer war ein Business Doppelzimmer gewesen. Zimmer war soweit okay und alles Notwendige vorhanden. Platzmäßig eher knapp bemessen aber noch in Ordnung. Sauberkeit und Roomservice waren einwandfrei. Lage des Hotels ist auf jeden Fall top. Weniger gefallen hat uns die Hellhörigkeit nach draußen hin. Wir waren im 5. Stock gewesen aber trotzdem konnte man jegliche Konversationen, die unterhalb unseres Fensters stattgefunden haben, problemlos mithören. Auch morgens - es lag also nicht an der zu erwartbaren etwas lauteren Geräuschkulisse des Weihnachtsmarktes, der direkt vor der Türe stattgefunden hat. Des Weiteren konnte uns leider das Frühstück nicht überzeugen. Auswahl ist eher überschaubar, aber dafür waren die wenigen Sachen von guter Qualität. Positiv auf jeden Fall, dass es Eierspeisen auch frisch auf Bestellung gibt. Brötchen gab es an beiden Tagen bereits keine mehr (einen Tag bereits eine komplette Stunde vor offiziellem Frühstücksende). Dafür ist das Frühstück mit unter 10€ aber zumindest günstig. Das kann man von der Übernachtung selbst mit über 160€ pro Nacht leider nicht sagen. Deshalb stimmte hier für uns das Preisleistungsverhältnis auch nicht. In Summe alles ganz solide, allerdings wird dies den doch sehr ambitionierten Preisen leider nicht gerecht.

Wir haben die Zeit im Hotel Ratskeller sehr genossen. Sehr nettes Personal in allen Bereichen, frisch renovierte Zimmer, modern und gemütlich. Für Radfahrer gibt es eine Garage mit Abstell-und Lademöglichkeit für Fahrräder. Sehr gutes Frühstück und ein Besuch im Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Hier kann man sehr gut essen. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Hotel

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit der Nummer 71 und waren somit alleine auf den Etage, was sich als Reise mit einem Kleinkind wirklich anbietet. Außerdem hatten wir gehofft die Sauna nutzen zu können und die befand sich überraschenderweise ebenfalls auf dieser Etage, dadurch konnten wir problemlos das Babyphone mitnehmen. Sehr erfreulich war auch die wirklich sehr schöne Saunabereich, der gerade erst 3 Monate zuvor sehr hochwertig renoviert wurde. Das einzige Manko aus unserer Sicht war, dass das sehr gut bewertete Restaurant Sonntags geschlossen ist und wir somit dieses nicht besuchen konnten.

Also das Team und der Service sind wirklich großartig und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit ! Wirklich etwas besonderes was dem Aufenthalt sehr zu gute kommt! Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, simple und besonders im Bad die Dusche leider viel zu klein!

Inhabergeführtes, sehr hübsches Hotel mit gutem Se
