The only problem we ran into is that it’s challenging to get in touch with anyone should you need anything. We needed more coffee pods and garbage bags, and neither of which were restocked in the hall cabinet. The best part was the breakfast bag. I was really impressed by the quality of the items included. 2 buns, 2 croissants, cheese, butter, apples and juice. The hotel was lovely and central to the city. Most areas were in walking distance from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. My only gripe was that the kitchenette was damaged with the fridge tilting backwards and was a little awkward to open without it tilting forward. Clearly the cabinet base needed repairing room 104. Please fix it. You would have 5 stars if it wasn't broken on arrival. The room was lovely and clean and if you required extra room supplies (towels, loo roll or coffee) there was a cabinet in the hallway for you to help yourself - GREAT idea! With it's central location a Friday night can be a little loud outside at times. All the facilities at the hotel were of a very high standard. Only a short walk to the local transport links. Overall we loved our stay in your hotel and your country. It is located in the heart of town where all the action is,and you can drink and walk back to your place. There is great food very close outside the door. Very clean.great space. Lots of noise on the street all night. The most uncomfortable beds ever slept on. Felt like a down duve on top of a box springs. The location is perfect to explore the best of Reykjavik on foot, but also to catch transfers to see all of the natural beauty. Our tours took us as far as Vik and the Katla Glaciers, and it was so relaxing to come back to our warm comfortable room. And the shower… I can’t explain how much I’ll miss the shower. It’s a spa-like zen experience which is so cleansing after a chilly day seeing waterfalls, ice caves and geysers. On days we didn’t have tours it was a 10-15 minute walk to all of the restaurants and shopping you could ever want. This property could have easily been a 5 star all the way. It was clean, spaceous enough, comfortable, convenient and with many wonderful restaurants and places around....very central. What ruined the review is the colossal amount of noise especially at night....no exaggeration. Our room was overlooking the street and we could have very well been sleeping on the street. Not a single quiet night of restful sleep. The rooms ansolutely need to be sound proofed. We were hearing yelling, singing, shouting, partying all night long until around 5am....and then the city truck at 6am washing the street after lare night drunk party goers. I tried to chamge rooms but staff ignored my request and never followed up on my email.
