"We had a great stay in this lovely property. Bigger than the photos suggest, well decorated and it had everything we needed. Lots to do, really close to the beach, lots of places to eat within walking distance (I recommend to book in advance and eat early - many places including takeaways stop serving at 8pm or 9pm). It is right next to the lighthouse (which we took a tour up) but the light is well above the house so doesn't affect it. The Sole Bay Inn is the other side of the street and there...

"A beautiful cosy ex fisherman's cottage, very traditional feel. Well appointed and superbly situated in Southwold. Clean and welcoming, excellent communication with owners. Definitely like to visit again."

"Loved the de luxe room we were allocated. Whole of hotel was classy from the decor to staff attentiveness.Only chose to have the breakfast option which had many choices to choose from. Hotel is in the centre of Southwold and most things happen from the tour centre. Will definitely be going back there again."
