We really enjoyed our stay and the space and property was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic and the beds and linens were comfortable. When the sun cleared in the morning, the view of the mountains was incredible. It was a 2 minute walk from the falls and trails as well which we loved. The hot tub was also great.
We did write down some issues we encountered, which really weren't a big deal but addressing them would definitely be great given this was quite an expense for our family:
There is a tenant who lives above the garage and has a young child. This was a non-issue for us, but we did not find out about it until the day we received our check-in instructions.
We did find that sound carried really loudly throughout the house. This was amplified by doors that squeaked really loudly and slammed really hard and chairs that loudly scraped the floor. Again, not a big deal, but felt pads and WD40 could go a long way.
The stove wasn't great and took forever to heat up and The oven was really inconsistent (could also be the elevation). The frying pans and baking sheets were a bit worse for wear. I wouldn't call it a chef's kitchen, but the island was awesome for prep and keeping an eye on the kids. Extra supplies, like facial tissue, tinfoil, and parchment paper weren't stocked but we were able to stretch out what was there.
A number of the power outlets did not work, which was difficult when trying to plug in a baby monitor. The router was really old and could only handle 5 devices at a time. Netflix was stuck on French and took a bit to figure out.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property. We played games, went snowmobiling, went for hikes, watched movies, and ate a ton. The layout of the house and property worked perfectly for what we had in mind. We do think it was a bit overpriced, but given it is technically peak season, it made sense.
