Steinig, aber für uns war das völlig in Ordnung. Viele Details, Küchenzeile draussen, Basketball Korb, Holzplattform am Wasser und eigener Garten. Ernten erwünscht! Sehr freundlicher Besitzer! Marion La Lumiere is an amazing villa and we loved every moment of our stay there. It is spotlessly clean, very highly appointed, beautifully designed and has the most breathtaking aspect overlooking the ocean that you will never want to venture far from the villa. The owners were very accomodating and helpful especially the lovely and very talented Maria. They allowed us to leave our luggage before checking in, left a wonderful welcome basket of Creatan goodies including wine on our arrival and collected hand picked vegetables from the garden every morning ready for our super fresh salads and left them on the outside terrace. The villa has everything you could ever need on a self catering holiday and even the smallest things have been considered such as a wine cooler, juicer and even cake tins! The outside terrace and BBQ is an amazing spot to enjoy cocktails and have long lazy lunches overlooking the ocean. Watching the spectacular sunsets from the deck was a 'must do' every evening- the view really is breathtaking. The villa has a lovely refreshing pool and direct sea access but the beach and local taverna are just a two minute walk away so everyone's needs are catered for. My family loved staying here so much that we very rarely ventured out for sightseeing or exploring, but Rethymo is only a short drive away and a pleasant place to visit with plenty of restaurants and bars.
