"6 pools, not crowded. Staff was the nicest and most helpful ever. Very clean grounds. Close enough to fun restaurants to walk and small grocery nearby. Easy check in and out. Shuttle from and to airport. So courteous."

"Our stay at Lina Point was flawless! Most importantly was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. From picking us up from the airport, to having Karen available to help us rent a golf cart and book a snorkeling trip, they were happy to help. Viewing the sealife and birds in a very quiet and peaceful area was just what we needed."

"Staff is really nice. From bartenders, to house cleaners, to boat drivers. Had a good time. It is tedious to get there from Airport with how many forms of transportation you need, but front desk reps made it easy for us to get cab from airport to the first port. I would recommend for a girls trip, couples trip, or family trip , since I saw a lot of kids there as well."

"We had an absolutely amazing time at Matachica! Celebrated our honeymoon here, and will definitely be back in a few years to celebrate again! Staff was so friendly and helpful, the food was all so delicious and beautifully presented, and we were beyond comfortable in our casita!"

"Oldest hotel on island with original owner still. Cold ac. On beach but next to town center with super quick walking to most anything. Great pillows. Room still has the old, dark paneling and could use a remodel but overall, the location and staff make up for it. "

"The staff was responsive when alerted to air conditioner malfunction and were able to move us to another cabana. However, this cabana had structural issues in the flooring that would trip you if not careful. Also-as they are authentic roofs particles fall from them fairly constantly. Be aware that the 'north side' is away from the more active/party side of the island: this is what we were looking for but may not be for everyone. "

"The staff is wonderful, and the location is perfect! The room was adequate but thats all we needed to shower and sleep in 😃 The pool was clean and well maintained. I would recommend for a few nights!"
