"This is a really nice place. The directions on Expedia stated check-in was required before 6 p.m. the staff was very flexible for our 8:30 p.m. check-in. The place was a little hard to find and required a 4x4 to get up a big hill. The property staff escorted us, which was extremely helpful. I would recommend this place if you want an adventure."

"Great host, beautiful off the beaten path setting with toucan birds flying around. We had a small 2 wheel drive SUV and had no issues getting to the cabin in rain or sunny conditions. Keep your momentum and it’s an easy little drive up a hill. Close to Quopos and Antionio Manuel sites (20-30min). If you want a country setting and a great escape then I highly recommend it! Already planning our trip back!"

"Yes, the house is beautiful. It’s spacious, nicely decorated, and was clean when we arrived. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end—and everything that followed completely ruined the stay. I genuinely had a terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.To start, finding the house was a complete nightmare. The location is extremely difficult to navigate to, and the directions provided were vague and unhelpful. When we tried reaching out to the host for assistance, communication was minimal and his instructions were unclear. We were left sending photos back and forth of the street we were on as the host leisurely responded with vague instructions. We were left scrambling to figure things out on our own, which set a very frustrating tone from the start.Once inside, the problems just kept piling up. Most of the air conditioning units didn’t work, leaving several rooms miserably hot and uncomfortable. The showers were a disaster—barely any pressure, and the temperature constantly swung from freezing cold to scalding hot without warning. Taking a simple shower felt like a challenge.Then, without warning, the power went out. Completely. No storm, no explanation—just total darkness. It happened twice, and this time we received no support or communication from the host whatsoever.This place may look nice in pictures, but looks are deceiving. The experience ruined the beauty of the home and I would not recommend it to others."

"Casa Colibri was the perfect setting for our group vacation to Quepos. The home, casitas, pool and grounds were pristine. Truly like being at our own private resort. The cleaning service was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The concierge team was so helpful helping us book and plan excursions for our group of 14\. We were greeted by the concierge on arrival to go over all the ins and outs of the home and casitas making the check in process easy. We enjoyed afternoons at the pool watching the monkeys, McCaws and iguanas right in the yard. Couldn’t have picked a better home for our group. Highly recommend for any group wanting to visit Quepos. "
