The only heating is via a heating pad that is under the bedsheet. We got unlucky and our neighbours at this hotel had a child’s birthday party. The soundproofing did not protect us and we had to stay up until the party was over. The owners were nice to us and tried to be helpful. However they told us that the scenic highway 7 was closed today. We changed our plans but still later that day found ourselves at the visitor center for highway 7 located near Daxi Mausoleum.
