« Relaxing stay just out of town. Lovely birdlife and gatdens. The accomodation was of high standard and very clean and comfortable. Close to Matakana and the coast. Our host Kim was friendly and informative and available if help was needed. Overall a great experience »

« The listing is inaccurate there is no spa, the bbq was so rusty we could not use it. The pillows are so lumpy you could not sleep on them. Only two beds were made up for us despite there being 4 people. The listing didn’t say you share the location with the owner. »

« Having the lock box at ground level was a pain given the hall lights were not working. Be good if it was at eye level. The property was neat and tidy. Had all we required. Would've liked internet though! Nice being upstairs for breakfast on the balcony. Great having a 4 Square right below us. »

« On day of check in we received an email asking what time we would arrive and received no reply as to the address to find the exact location for the accommodation. By deduction and luck we drove around and around until by chance we found it. Host was very good in supplying iron and ironing board on request. Had to buy laundry detergent and no dryer. »

« Our family group of 4 adults were all disappointed with how grubby this property was. We don’t mind things which are a bit shabby (carpet, paintwork, furniture, curtains) but we really like things to be clean! Don’t even expect hospital standards but not ….dead bugs, spiders, dust, cobwebs…. Hair and mould in showers, basins, bathroom mirrors splashed with someone else’s toothpaste….YUK. Kitchen equipment greasy and grimy. Also the downstairs bedroom was very damp and unaired and we had to move...

« Lovely little house to stay in, perfect for my sister & I. Would happily stay again. Bed super comfy, loved sitting in bed looking at the water. The only problem we had was we could not get the hobs to work! probably something silly we were doing, but the microwave worked so all good. Stunning outlook.
